Casa Maya truly feels like a home in the Caribbean. From day one, you feel welcomed by the hosts and by Steve, the manager (the best!). The atmosphere is all about good vibes, respect, and sharing with everyone. The tasks, inside and outside the hostel, are simple and easy to manage. What really matters is coming with a good attitude, being open, and treating the hostel as if it were your own home. The cat and dog make's better. This was my first hostel volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. I had an amazing time and I'm very grateful for everything. Thank you so much guys!

Amazing experience, the place is super nice, it has an incredible pool and a big garden with 🐢 and 🦎 ... the hosts are very friendly and funny guys, super flexible with the working hours, the task are very straightforward and easy. You can also make arrangements with them for diving, snorkeling or renting bike to fully enjoy the island. Highly recommend!

The hosts are really friendly nice guys, honestly it was a super chill experience. There's not much to do on Cozumel except chill in a hammock, bike around the island and dive, so if that sounds like something you'd enjoy then this volunteering might be perfect for you. The working hours were fairly flexible, and I got on well with the other volunteers who were there at the same time, which obviously makes a huge difference to the experience. The host provides free coffee, a bed in an air conditioned dorm and filtered water. One thing to note the work is not hard, but it is mostly cleaning.
