I had the absolute best time at Tara center! It was my first volunteering experience and I enjoyed every minute of it. The center is surrounded by a beautiful garden and immersed in an incredible atmosphere of tranquility and peace. The staff is made of incredible people with stories to share who will welcome you, respect you and treat you like family and I was so lucky to share this with other awesome volunteers. The position of the center also allows you to visit many cities as well as having the most amazing walks in the nature. I would most certainly recommend this place to anyone.

I spent two weeks at the Center and had the best time! The place is amazing and surrounded by beautiful nature. I spent most of my shifts working at the café and was able to attend a few meditation sessions. The work is explained very clearly and you get to learn new skills. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and caring, making you feel like you really belong there. Overall the atmosphere is peaceful and wholesome, so I couldn't recommend it more!

Tara Center is a wonderful place run by kind people! You will meet volunteers from all around the world and learn about leaving in peace with yourself and the other. I highly recommend to volunteer at tara the Center!

De las mejores experiencias que he tenido. Se respira paz. Es el real por y para todos ✨️ Gracias 🥰 Se puede llegar al centro por camino peatonal 👍 Habitaciones compartidas divididas por géneros. Duchas compartidas pero separadas 👍 Tres comidas al día + café, té, fruta cuando quieras. Tareas: limpieza, jardín, cafetería y cocina. Los turnos suelen ser tranquilos, vamos rotando y siempre te preguntarán si vas bien. Es normal ver a los huéspedes ayudando en las tareas. Todos los días a las 9 nos reunimos para saber qué nos tocará hacer ese día. Se puede asistir a las salas de meditaci

I really enjoyed my experience here. We were able to go to a few of the meditations and teachings when not working. Walking around the grounds was peaceful and calming. Would recommend and I would do it again.

My experience at Tara was wonderful. It was two weeks of a lot of learning and unique exchanges! I learned about the Center Buddhism, meditation techniques and also met incredible people among volunteers, managers, residents, monks and visitors. The work is varied and you will help in the Café, kitchen, household and gardening. You can always participate in classes and meditations in your free time. You will be also able to enjoy the beautiful gardens and to enjoy the wonderful food! I recommend this experience to everyone! Tara Team, thank you again for the opportunity!

The two weeks I spent at tara were very special. I had the opportunity to contribute to various jobs, meet different people, learn about Buddhism, take part in meditations and many other incredible experiences. I'm very grateful for the great times I've had at Tara and I'm very grateful to Sam, Donna, Ximena, Nathalie and everyone else for their attention, care and help throughout. I recommend it to everyone !!!!!

The 2 weeks I spent at Tara were excellent! I met incredible people, not only volunteers, but also residents, monks and visitors to the Center. The space is very open to exchanges and sharing experiences, and you can also participate in classes and meditation sessions when you are not working. The work is generally divided between the Café, household, grounds and kitchen, 6 hours a day. In your free time, besides participate in meditations, you can enjoy the beautiful garden, or enjoy with friends in the common areas. I recommend it 110%! It's a life-changing experience

My time here has been some of my best ever while traveling! The grounds are lovely, and all of the people who live and work here are the absolute best!! Every volunteer I met was fantastic as well and I have made new lifelong friends. I have nothing but love for every single person I met! I don't have enough good things to say about this place and if I had time would absolutely extend my stay! Keep in mind the hours are fairly long so it does start to feel like a full time job time commitment wise but if you are ok with that for sure come! Absolutely amazing and I will definitely be back!!

I simply can't say enough good things about my experience! The grounds and accommodation are beautiful, comfortable, clean and safe. The residents and volunteers are some of the most genuine and kind people I've ever met! The work hours and responsibilities are clearly communicated, well organized and perfectly reasonable. As volunteers, we were able to participate in the retreats, meditations and prayers any time we're not working which was such a treat! I would HIGHLY recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking to meet new people, or take some time for spiritual exploration!
