Probably one of the best volunteer positions I have had. Ran is a super nice and ambitious guy with lots of knowledge about the life in the ocean. I learned so much about sea and got even more fascinated with every the hostel. Everyone who was part of the team there impressed and inspired me to keep doing sth in that area. I enjoyed the time with the locals and felt like a second home. Missing the deep talks next to the typhoons already. I definitely plan on coming back!!

Beautiful experience! I felt part of the hostel Family as soon as I arrived, I had the opportunity of really getting to know the local culture and loved every part of it. The environmental work they make is awesome, I learned a lot about marine life and taking care of the sea. I'm sure I will go back to spent sone more time with this amazing group

I had such an amazing time at the hostel! The whole the hostel team is made up of the kindest people, and I've really grown fond of them. From the very first moment, I felt super welcomed and comfortable. I'm so happy to have been part of this marine conservation project. The work the hostel team does is incredible, and I'm glad I got to contribute my little grain of sand. If you're someone who loves learning new things and being in the water all the time, this is definitely the place for you. Can't wait to come back! :)

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. Volunteering for a marine conservation project, fulfilled a personal dream and became part of something extraordinary. Day by day we dove into the challenge to protect our oceans, exploring the underwater world, and educating others on how precious our ocean is. Sharing the beauty of this region has been an experience as vast and deep as the ocean itself. I learned heaps more about the ocean, oversaw coral nurseries, cleaned up the ocean of trash, all with an awesome team and other international volunteers that were present. AMAZING PROJECT💜

I had an amazing time at the hostel Ecodive, so much so that I've already committed to coming back as soon as possible. I could not possibly recommend this experience more! I felt comfortable and cared for from day 1 not only by the team but by the people of Legazpi. I was lucky enough to learn from passionate people and assist in making an impact in a field I truly love while being included wholeheartedly in filipino culture. If you are considering volunteering with the hostel Ecodive, do it! It's an opportunity to grow, give back, have fun and contribute to something truly worthwhile.

Rarum was my first volunteering ever and I'm more than grateful that i chose them for it! Being with such a loving, warm, and respectful family made all the difference. We would do our work and then go explore together. I learned and had fun at the same time. I'm truly grateful to Ran for our many deep conversations about life that often moved me! I also learned a lot about marine conservation, which sparked and deepened my curiosity and passion even more. Thank you for making me feel like part of the family ! I'm definitely coming back! From day one, I felt something rare; a warmth, an energy, a deep sense of care. The team welcomed me as one of their own; always present, kind, and incredibly supportive. They shared their culture, took time to guide me, and truly made me feel at home. The coral restoration project was eye-opening; they taught me with patience and passion, never judging my lack of knowledge. This isn't one of those volunteer factories, it's a small family of ocean lovers who truly fight for the cause and believe in creating real impact, for the reef and for you. Workdays were full of joy, learning and laughs!
