The hostel is an amazing location to stay and volunteer at. Located in one of the most iconic neighborhoods of Rio, the house itself and the accommodation is fantastic. The shifts are very well managed and the team is fantastic, like having a second family abroad. I already miss everyone there and can recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a great volunteering experience in Rio!

Primera vez y la verdad aprendí muchísimas cosas durante el tiempo que estuve. Hubo muy buena comunicación ya sea de la cabeza (Marcos) y hasta los compañeros. Las instalaciones son muy buenas, lugar amplio, ordenado y muy buena ubicación cercano a Santa Teresa, Gloria y Lapa. Lo super recomiendo para vivir la experiencia de voluntario!!!

Desde el primer momento me sentí muy bien recibida, todo el equipo hizo de mi estadía un lugar muy cómodo e increíble donde viví experiencias muy bonitas. Agradezco a todos por todas las atenciones y los momentos vividos 🫶🏼. El hostal tiene una muy buena ubicación ya que queda cerca a todo, las tareas son sencillas de aprender, se respetan los tiempos de trabajo acordados y puedes practicar diferentes idiomas. Sin duda alguna me encantaría volver allí!

Expérience merveilleuse au l'auberge de jeunesse!! L'équipe est au top, tout le monde est accueillant et fun. L'hostel est agréable et grand, à la fois calme mais possible de sociabiliser et sortir si c'est ce que vous cherchez Le travail correspond bien à l'annonce, tout est expliqué super clairement quand on commence le volontariat et bonne ambiance de travail. Il y a quatre shifts (matin, aprèm, soir et nuit) qui tournent. Bref je recommande à 100%, ce volontariat est top pour découvrir Rio tout en rencontrant des gens et en s'amusant Merciii à l'équipe pour avoir rendu mon séjour à Rio inoubliable ❤️

My experience at the hostel was unforgettable. The place is located near the lively Lapa and the beautiful Santa Teresa. The tasks were quite easy and fun. The people working there are amazing — the owner, Marcos, is a very nice and pleasant person, and the other volunteers are friendly, kind, and wonderful. Thank you guys I love you all 🧡

Essa foi a minha primeira experiência como voluntária e foi ótima! Fui muito bem recebida por todos e me senti muito acolhida. As tarefas são fáceis de serem realizadas, tem hóspedes de todo o mundo. O anfitrião Marcos é ótimo e está a todo momento no hostel e disposto a ajudar os voluntários, recomendo para todos!

Anyone who wants to experience Rio authentically should visit this hostel. It is unique and located right in front of the Feria Gloria market, which I visited every Sunday. The hostel is huge, so there's always a spot to find some privacy. You stay in a room exclusively for volunteers, usually six per room, mixed-gender. And keeping things clean in your shift but also private is taken very seriously (Theres a kitchen and bathroom only for volunteers). So, if you come to the hostel just to have a free fun time, this is not the place for you because we worked together as a team. What one person.

Eu indico muito a experiência de voluntariado no hostel. O hostel está bem localizado, tem uma estrutura confortável e a vista da sacada é incrível. O anfitrião Marcos sempre está no hostel e a comunicação com ele é muito tranquila. A dinâmica do voluntariado também é interessante, sendo uma escala rotativa semanal com tarefas bem práticas de serem feitas. O hostel recebe praticamente somente hóspedes estrangeiros, então falar espanhol ou inglês é importante. A equipe foi receptiva e o relacionamento com os hóspedes também é muito fácil, todos estão sempre animados para conhecer a cidade.

Eu amei o voluntariado, fiquei nas mídias sociais e foi bem tranquilo, fiz trilhas com o pessoal e aproveitei demais o Rio. O hostel é lindo, tem uma vista incrível do nascer do sol, o quarto é bom, a cozinha é bem equipada, tem espaço pra trabalhar home office e uma boa internet. O Marcos é um querido e a turma de voluntários que estava comigo era muy buena onda. Recomendo demais!
