For those working remotely, I recommend clearly communicating your availability so that volunteer hours can be scheduled in the best possible way.

In a charming house on the river, in a lovely town, I met a strong woman, determined, and able to always find new solutions for her life. Renovating Sasha's home was challenging, but very interesting: I learned new skills, discovered how much I love manual work and shared my stay with other wonderful volunteers. Sasha and Marc have always been concerned that each of us is well and comfortable. They spoiled us with their cuisine and wonderful morning croissants! This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and it was much better than I ever imagined. Alexandra and Mark are wonderful hosts—I felt welcomed, safe, and very well-fed. Mark is an amazing cook! Alexandra works alongside us, willing to help, explaining the tasks carefully, being patient, and always open to suggestions. My experience with Alexandra was wonderful. The place was absolutely stunning, and both she and Marc made me feel at home from day one. On our days off, they took us on small trips and shared insights about the local culture, which was truly enriching. They were always attentive, even offering to pick me up from the train station if I ever returned late at night. The work was demanding but incredibly rewarding, and the schedule was completely flexible. Overall, I highly recommend this experience!

Dreux es una ciudad increíble. Alexandra y Marc son personas alegres, atentas y siempre dispuestas a que el voluntariado sea una experiencia transformadora. El trabajo es duro y hay mucho por hacer, pero el intercambio es justo, la comida increible y el alojamiento de ensueño. Alexandra es muy comunicativa y abierta a dialogar todas las tareas por hacer. I want to thank Sasha and Marc for receiving me in their home with such cordiality and kindness. I've done many different stuff during my stay, some things more demanding physically but it was a new experience and I've got to learn a lot of new stuff and learn lot of things about what I am capable of doing, and also some french!!!!

En mi primera experiencia como voluntario y a verlo realizado en Francia Dreux con Alexandra y Mac unieron muchas cosas positivas y algunos sin sabores que se convirtieron en oportunidades de saber superarlas. El trabajo fue duro pero tuve la oportunidad de ampliar mis conocimientos en otras formas de trabajar y de conocer nuevas formas de realizar trabajos de fontanería y en especial el manejo de la electricidad.
