I can only say positive things about this experience. The work is really easy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommendable! I'll be back whenever I have a chance!

Volunteering at the hostel was such a rewarding experience. From the start, the work was clearly explained and well communicated, which made settling in really easy. A big shout out to Juan, who patiently showed me the ropes behind the bar. Jesus did a fantastic job managing the volunteers. He was flexible when I needed to make changes to my travel plans and always made sure expectations were clear. Working on the bar with Erick and Manuel was great. Not only did they improve my Spanish speaking skills but they were super open to ideas and made me feel like part of the hostel family.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel!! The staff are so kind and welcoming. I had some Spanish lessons with Manuel during my stay, he was an amazing teacher and even gave me a volunteer discount. I was helping with the breakfast, so I had each afternoon free to explore the city. The work was easy and there were lots of opportunities to chat with the guests. The only challenge was when the breakfast options were a little limited, and sometimes guests would complain to me. There are always only 1 or 2 volunteers, so often I needed to rely on the hostel guests to make friends.

It was an amazing experience that I can highly recommend! Very helpful team, the tasks are well explained, the hours are previously agreed and respected. There are many activities in the hostel but also there is enough free time to explore Arequipa! Gracias chicos por todo, espero que nos vemos pronto 💜

Trabajé como voluntario aquí durante 3 semanas, principalmente ayudando con el desayuno y algunas tareas de limpieza. El personal aquí es muy amable, me explican las tareas a realizar y me dan orientación todos los días, y me dan suficiente apoyo y confianza. Hay dos días libres a la semana, que se pueden aprovechar para explorar Arequipa. Me gusta mucho esta ciudad y el hostel, y recomiendo a todos que vengan aquí!

I really like the hostel and the locations, everything was nice. Unfortunately i arrived at a time where the hostel was a bit empty so i didn't had a lot to do in the bar. I left before the end of the initial plan but they were really comprehensive.

I had the absolute best time at the hostel! I loved working at the bar with Luis, the hours and tasks were as previously agreed. the hostel is a family-like hostel, and I really felt at home there. The whole team is very sweet and welcoming! I 100% recommend :)

The whole staff here is amazing! Everyone is so kind and helpful. The tasks are clearly communicated as well. Seriously such an awesome place. I ended up having to go to the hospital for 2 days after only working for a couple days and they were super helpful and accommodating :) Everyone checked on me for days after I got back. Amazing place and amazing team!

I had an amazing experience. My first time volunteering. Everyone was very helpful even on my day off the staff recommend places I should go food I should try and they also helped me improve my spanish(motivatedme to speak more Spanish and stop being shy). The schedule agreed upon was respected. It's an amazing and health work environment. You also get to meet alot international travellers and make friends. Accommodations was very comfy. I am gonna miss them sooo much.

The hostel was the perfect first volunteer experience! I initially planned to stay for two weeks but ended up staying for a month because I enjoyed it so much. Erick and Manuel were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and Manuel's Spanish classes helped me improve my language skills. The work at the bar was fun, the hours were fair, and I always had plenty of time to explore Arequipa. The hostel itself is spacious, with stunning mountain views and a great atmosphere for connecting with guests and other volunteers. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
