I stayed a little over a month at the reserve with Andrea and Diego. I was warmly welcomed with open arms. They are two people full of knowledge, with big hearts and a true desire to make a difference for the environment and biodiversity. Here, you'll learn many things, meet locals, connect with travelers from all around the world, live in a paradise in the middle of nowhere, and learn to live in the present moment. I will be forever grateful, thank you for everything.

I stayed a bit less than a month with Diego and Andrea and I will cherish the moments spent with them forever. They make you feel home, they teach you many many things about nature and the local life. You also get to improve your spanish with them which is so fun. The working hours are always so interesting, we mostly worked in the garden, jungle or on the beach. But you also have plenty of free time to enjoy the beautiful area. Diego and Andrea are incredible people and are so passionate about their work! I met awesome people on the trip and the housing was a unique experience! 10/10 would go back again!!

Andreja & Diego were welcoming & provided everything we asked for & more! Having a group as motivated & positive to experience this with was also a huge help. The accommodation was exactly what you should expect from a remote rainforest the reserve. With that being said please come prepared! What they're doing out here is monumental & it was a great pleasure to contribute to the effort. Extremely proud of everyone & i cant wait to come back!

The reserve is THE BEST!!! Diego and Andrea are the most amazing kind people I have met and they made me feel like family from day 1. The coolest people I swear!! And so many amazing activities and learning opportunities. Could not recommend the reserve more!!!

What a special experience with a lasting impression on my heart. Beautiful land, incredible group of people, and the sweetest hosts. My heart ached pulling away from the reservation, but I will be back. So much gratitude <3

It's was such a great trip going to porunta the reserve! Diego and Andres where such good hosts that carded about our experience and cared about helping the environment very much. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to do it!

Diego and Andrea were amazing. The experience left us speechless! We helped in the garden, helped in beach clean ups, released turtles and hikes in our free time! The food was awesome and they were very respectful about dietary restrictions! Finally, the volunteer house was such a vibe! Comfy beds, nice hammocks and a nice bathroom area! Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you the reserve❤️

My time at the reserve was incredible! Diego made me feel very safe and welcome from the start. I felt immersed with nature and the reserve and had the adventure of a lifetime! We had incredible food, views and experiences. I learned so much and am extremely grateful for every minute I spent there! Experiencing local culture, visiting local schools, seeing baby turtles hatch, beach clean ups and meeting others with similar interests and values were just some of the amazing parts of this trip, I highly recommend this to anyone who has a love for nature, the reserve and adventure!
