Live a few weeks with Egyptian Maus, rare and mythical cats, in a peaceful, remote haven. Cuddles, playtime, but also cleaning their space and some help in the house and garden are essential. This place is for autonomous, responsible people, comfortable with solitude. I work for humanitarian organizations, but in the evenings I can teach you French cooking if you’d like.

Programmdetails

This is a peaceful and remote home for people who enjoy solitude, nature, and animals. I live with rare and affectionate Egyptian Mau cats, a dog and some chickens. Volunteers help care for the animals, maintain a clean and pleasant space, and assist with gardening or light tasks. In the evenings, I cook for everyone and can teach French cuisine or help with French language if desired.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Volunteers help 5 hours a day, 5 days a week (preferably Monday–Wednesday and Saturday–Sunday). Please take your freedays on Thursday and Friday.

Tasks include:

Cleaning the cats’ houses, litter boxes and gardens (daily)

Feeding and playing with the cats

Light house cleaning

Gardening or small outdoor projects (painting, repairs)
Morning work is preferred. Afternoons and evenings are free.

Regeln

Volunteers must enjoy silence, autonomy and animals

Keep your room clean and respect shared spaces

No smoking, no loud talking indoors

I work from home by phone — please do not interrupt during the day

This is an off-grid house: please avoid using high-energy devices in the evening or when there’s little sunlight

Breakfast is self-service, weekday lunches are self-prepared

I cook a full dinner every night (vegetarian possible, not vegan)
