Shak and Tiziana are amazing hosts. Shak drove us to many towns nearby, showed us the local culture and offered a lot in exchange for our work. The tasks were really fun, everyday something different, which made it very interesting and gave us a chance to learn a wide range of things. The property is beautiful and the animals are friendly, very smart and well-behaved. The surrounding area is really pretty as well. The food was incredibly tasty, we got to try a lot of amazing dishes. Overall, perfect experience and i couldn't recommend it enough.

First worldpackers experience and it was amazing. From day one I felt welcomed and at home. Shak was open, communicative and full of ideas. He took me to nearby towns, to Rome and introduced me to new recipes and food. On top of that, he shared much about simple, sustainable living. The work itself was fun and rewarding. I got to follow every step of making wine and cider. Shak always made sure I took breaks. It was a great chance to reconnect with nature and learn about ecology. It was the perfect balance between work and enjoying life in the countryside. Highly recommend Shak and Tiziana!

I had the most amazing experience during my time in Magliano the reserve. The host Shak was extremely accommodating and was super amazing with taking us around the area and immersing us in the local community. Tasks during the day were relatively flexible and Shak was always making sure we weren't over exerting ourselves. We often had enough down time after a day on the farm which was amazing to reconnect with nature.

I had an absolutely amazing time! The rooms were spacious and comfy, and the food was amazing! Shak was an amazing host and it was so fun to be able to go on outings in and around the small towns! The farm is breathtaking and the facilities were amazing!

Mater nature has been my first experience at volunteering work and I would not chose anywhere else to start my experience, I felt like home , the food was amazing and the really respect the schedule and tasks that we agreed before , Shak and the team are lovely people :) highly recommend

Highly recommend this wonderful experience! From the first day I felt at home, the house is a beautiful place and the accommodations are incredible, food was always awesome and vegetarian. While volunteering here you truly get to experience nature and Italian countryside. Shak was a super host through and through! He guided as everyday and in every activity, I learned many thinks from him, also invited us to join him in his adventures and events, which made me experience true Italian culture. I'm very thankful to have been a part of this project and hope I can come back sometime!

I left early due to some unexpected allergies; I knew coming into this that this was a farm so I was not expecting an ideal situation, but I was hoping for more cleanliness. The farm is also a bit isolated from the nearest town but Shak does drive you if you need it. He is very accommodating and grocery shops frequently if you ever need anything. Tatyana is also very sweet, it was nice & easy to talk to her even with a language barrier. Farm tasks and hours are very flexible and exactly as agreed upon, I chose to wake up early to beat the sun and it worked out well. Reach out if interested :)

Great experience ! Learned a lot about sustainable living. The place is stunning, the accomodation perfect and the animals lovely. You will not learn about farming life and the place is quite isolated from the cities nearby but Shak does his best to make you discover his friends and cities around. Don't hesitate if you have any questions :)
