This is the perfect opportunity to leave everything behind and live quietly in the woods with minimal responsibilities. The work was incredibly light, and the team was small but very diverse. The hours were consistent, with brief morning and afternoon shifts that were 3 hours and 1.5-2 hours long, respectively. Depending on how long you stay, you can expect to see the northern lights multiple times, and maybe a few moose. I am eternally grateful to the gracious hosts and fellow volunteers for this life-changing experience, and I wish everyone the best this winter season and beyond!

Vivir en una zona rural, aprender como manejar a los animales en otra situación que no conocía, aprender cosas sobre como sacar adelante un negocio... Las anfitrionas son muy simpáticas y les encanta su trabajo, hacen todo lo posible porque formes parte del equipo y comparten todo. Pasar tiempo con los perros y ocuparse de ellos nunca te decepciona, te llenan de cariño pero ojo! no son perritos de ciudad, hay que seguir las instrucciones. El sitio es precioso y el trabajo no es muy intenso ni difícil y hay tiempo para descansar y disfrutar del entorno. Me quedo con ganas de volver

My 1st volunteering exp, and it was amazing!! Simo and Ale are kind and hospitable hosts. Always worrying about your needs and trying to make you feel home. They explain the work well and are patience about it. The place is beautiful and the dogs absolutely lovely, the work with them is easy and chill. Most of the work I did was with the dogs, but also helped with some gardening and cleaning. Room and facilities are very nice, clean and you have enough privacy. On my free time I explored the surroundings. Walking or by bike you can visit nearby rivers, hikes and lakes. Thx for everything!!
