From the very beginning of our exchange, Roger was kind, clear, and thorough in the way he explained their volunteer opportunity, which is far from conventional. Roger and Laura are more than hosts. They became my friends. From the first moment, I felt warmly welcomed and cared for. We shared delicious national dishes, spent wonderful time together, and watched an unforgettable sunset by the river. My stay was filled with kindness, laughter, and meaningful conversations. I arrived in a difficult state of mind, but Roger offered me a rune reading that changed my perspective. It gave me clarity and hope when I needed it most. This was not just a stay, it was a life changing experience. I will miss Roger and Laura so much and will never forget this time!

Roger and Laura were absolutely excellent hosts!! One thing that amazed me the most is that Roger brought me out of my comfort zone by showing me the power of nature and another perspective to view the Earth. During this period, we developed true friendships, built deep connections and most importantly, I had so many once in a life time experiences that would change my life and I'd never forget this meaningful experience >< Truely recommended to everyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone and get connected with the nature !!! 🤩🌱❤️

Roger showed us a beautiful place that we normally would have never seen or found. He's really friendly and can share a lot of knowledge about nature and cultures with you. We didn't get to spend much time together but still we're very grateful for this experience and his help for us to get around Ubatuba and see the prettiest spots :)

I call these spots the "hidden gems" of the rainforest, places that even the locals are not aware of. 💎 I'm so happy that you girls spent your last two days in Brazil with me! Yes, we can accommodate such requests as we’re not focused on volunteering work, but rather on these beautiful meetings and sharing we can have with like-minded travelers, pretty much like Couchsurfing. 🌎👫❤️ Any volunteers can come and meet us for a few days and enjoy this experience, all are welcome! ☀️

We spend one morning with Rodger. Sadly we didn't get to meet Laura. He knew a lot about the area, planned our 2- day stay& showed us a hidden gem (so special), we wouldn't have seen otherwise, where we just took some drone shots. Their project is less volunteering, rather they need people for their instagram and probably to hang out with, but in our situation his home was unavailable for us to sleep in, which was a bummer. The hostel he recommended had an amazing vibe though. When he couldn't meet us due to his job, he arranged an alternative with an amazing surfing instructor.Thanks a lot:)

It was a great chance to explore the other side of ubatuba with Roger! He took me to a hike and it was amazing, it was the first time of me being so connected with the nature and it was so healing!! This is the part where I got to step out of my comfort zone and see the world with different perspectives, and Roger was with me during the whole process, assisting me when I needed help. It was really a once in a lifetime experience and I would really recommend everyone to experience this!! 💕💕😍

Quando o voluntariado carrega algo especial, a experiência vai muito além do esperado — e foi exatamente assim. As tarefas eram tranquilas, o que me permitiu mergulhar de verdade no momento presente. Vivenciamos momentos profundos de conexão com a natureza: cachoeiras quase intocadas, paisagens com pedras imensas e trilhas por dentro da pura Mata Atlântica. Foi uma jornada pessoal, física e espiritual — com meditações em lugares que, para mim, agora são sagrados.
