Hermosa experiencia!! es increíblemente hermoso despertar cada dia en ese pequeño paraiso aislado. Fui en invierno, por eso pasé un poco de frío (es un lugar para el verano) pero me llevo hermosos recuerdos. Todos fueron muy amables conmigo, la comida asombrosa, probé muchos nuevos platos turcos, y el trabajo fue muy flexible y relajado. Aunque lamentablemente me tuve que ir unos dias antes por problemas con mi vuelo. Estoy muy agradecida con Ali y los dias que pasé allí! Hasta la proxima será! :)

Everybody welcomed us, everybody were so kind with us. The valley is beautiful, the three meals per day were really good with good quantity. We enjoyed a lot. Thank you, we hope to come back again :)

El resumen general es muy positivo porque el lugar es paradisíaco, se oyen las olas desde la tienda de campaña, se puede pasar la noche en una tumbona bajo las estrellas o contemplar el atardecer desde el Rock Bar... La parte negativa es la gestión, que es pésima empezando por arriba: se trata con desprecio a los voluntarios, no se nos dejaba usar las tumbonas del restaurante antes de las 17h, al igual que las canoas y tablas de paddle surf. Tampoco te dejan salir del valle en barco si no es en tu día libre, y nos dan menos elección de comida que a los huéspedes, aunque a mí me parecía rica.

It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, with crystal-clear water and amazing nature. We stayed for a month and a half (13/08–28/09), and I helped at the Rock Bar, which has a stunning view. I missed having someone who spoke English to teach me how to make drinks. The food is good but sometimes portions are small and you can't get seconds. The tent is fine to sleep in. There's no person in charge of volunteers, so communication can be confusing. Some random rules are created, and you can't sit/rest everywhere. Still, I truly recommend the experience, I met amazing people there.

In Batterfly Valley it took me a little to feel at home. Unfortunately when I arrived I felt a lot of tension in between the staff, the person I spoke to through the app was not there anymore. Due to this general confusion I found myself helping in roles I had not applied for, but in the end I adapted as much as possible, it was ok. This particular atmosphere could sometimes be a little difficult to face alone and for this I thank all the volunteers, we spent wonderful moments together trying to create our own space, a natural safe space, where in the end we even danced and laughed for hours.

My experience in the guest house was a little bittersweet. It is, in fact, a beautiful place, filled with the most amazing people, including both volunteers and staff. The accommodation (tents) is okay, and the food is really good, although very repetitive and not the healthiest (there's rarely any protein or vegetables). However, the most frustrating part for me was the lack of organization and the way the staff was treated. When we arrived, no one explained basic things, the volunteers had to do work they didn't applied to and some of them where even sent home bc there was no work for them

Es un lugar precioso, maravilloso y mágico. Las personas que conocí fueron grandiosa, hice grandes amigos y conexiones. Recomiendo solo llegar sabiendo exactamente que tareas vas a tener, porque en ocasiones no es claro, sobre todo los primeros días.

Honestly, the guest house was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Its clean and beautiful sea and the untouched nature were exactly what I was looking for. The volunteers there felt like a family to me — we were all very close to each other. The only downside was that the food portions were a bit small. But overall, I really enjoyed my stay.” 🌊🌿

​This was an experience ok, the biggest positive being the connection with the other volunteers. ​Despite the spectacular nature, the number of tourists took away some of the peace. The nights, however, were quite lively with parties. ​The lack of communication and organization from the contractors was definitely a point to be improved. Nevertheless, what truly saved the experience was the relationship between the volunteers. The exchange of experiences and mutual support made the journey unforgettable and outweighed the negatives. The tents were relatively comfortable, food ok.

The Valley is a real paradise and it was truly amazing waking up to those views during 45 days. Depending on the day, your tasks and work hours might change, which requires flexibility and adaptability on your part. A good thing about the tasks is that they allow you to be creative and propose extra activities you'd like to offer to the guests. On the downside, the trash could be recycled and a better environmental conscious developed. Also, sometimes the energy of the place might be a little heavy, which is not the host's fault. You can often feel how tired and stressed the workers are.
