The project, the environment, and the atmosphere are truly something unique and beautiful. You can always choose the tasks you want to do each day, which gives a great sense of freedom and variety - and helps you gain diverse experience. The working hours are also really good. I especially loved working on the bio-construction! If you are looking to escape the noise of the city, to have a rural and peaceful experience in nature (along with limited wifi), gain experience in sustainable living and permaculture - this place is perfect for you. I genuinely enjoyed my time here!

If you are looking for a place to disconnect from crazy society and reconnect with nature this is the place 100%. Views are gorgeous, pets are adorable, living is simple, includes pools, and hosts are soooooo lovely. 2 hours of work in the morning and 2 hours in the evening and no weekends! Work includes bio construction, painting, and plant/tree maintenance. It is vegetarian here, but food is always impecable plus amazing homemade pizzas on Friday. Lastly there is sooo much opportunity to learn and participate in the culture/religion of many of the local Peruvians, however, never forced!

Mi experiencia en el proyeto fue increíble. Ver un proyecto de bioconstrucción y comunidad sustentable tan hermoso y desarrollado fue inspirador. El espacio es lindo y tiene una energía especial. Al principio me incomodó un poco lo que se cobraba, pero luego entendí que es necesario para mantener el proyecto. Aunque Santi estuvo fuera la mayor parte del tiempo, Lili y Alan fueron excelentes anfitriones. Aprendí mucho y disfruté la convivencia con los otros voluntarios. Recomiendo la experiencia a quienes buscan aprender y conectar con la naturaleza.

Bonita experiencia en el proyeto. Es como un oasis en medio del desierto, fruto de años de trabajo de su promotor Santi, así como de muchas personas que han ido dejando su semilla a su paso. Hemos aprendido sobre bioconstrucción, huerta y como vivir en comunidad. También hemos aprovechado los días libres para conocer Arequipa. Gracias Santi y a los otros voluntarios por compartir vuestro tiempo y sabiduria con nosotras 😊

I loved every second at Santi's place! Although I expected to learn more about sustainability, this project really did not dissapoint. It's like a tiny community: everybody helps to prep the meals, feed the insanely cute dog and cats or clean the house. Because there is no signal, you're “forced” (in the best possible way:)) to spend time with the other volunteers, who became like a family to me.

Fui muy feliz en mi estancia en el proyeto, aprendí a convivir en comunidad junto con lxs demás voluntarixs, repartiendo las tareas diarias y apoyándonos mutuamente. Siempre hay algo que hacer para contribuir a la sostenibilidad del lugar, yo ayude con la huerta, sembré árboles, aprendí sobre bioconstruccion, las 4 horas de trabajo se respetan y puedes ayudar en lo que mas resuene contigo. El lugar tiene varios espacios para estar, hacer yoga, piscinas naturales y siempre hay abundancia de frutas y verduras. Santi es una persona sabia que comparte sus conocimientos con amor, gracias por todo❤️‍🔥

I had an amazing time there, Santi is super dedicated to his project and a wonderful person! He makes an effort to create connection among the volunteers, the distribution of work is fair and he works with us. Definitely recommend and want to come back sometime. Just make sure you can be completely offline while you are there as internet access is scarce. Gracias por todo Santiiii 💚💚
