An excellent experience at the lodge, a truly magical place where stress simply doesn't exist. The workdays were not too demanding and varied depending on how busy the place was. Everything is very well organized thanks to Noé and Martin, who are both highly professional and friendly managers. The meals, enjoyed before or after shifts, are healthy, comforting, and often prepared with great care. This experience will remain an unforgettable memory. I highly recommend it.

The lodge was a fever dream. The work hours were always respected and Noel and Martin were incredible hosts. I was there during off season so there were not a whole lot of huéspedes and town was pretty quiet. I surfed everyday and met tons of other volunteers from other sites. I try not to travel to the same place twice but I had such an amazing experience & would be stoked to come back. I highly recommend.

The lodge is a peaceful, chill paradise right on the beach. The vibe is super good, and the work is varied: cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, small maintenance. Nothing too heavy, during low season. I also happened to be there during a hurricane, which made things a bit different, but we always felt safe and supported. The place is beautiful, 15 minutes walking from the town Chacahua, with kind locals and a laid-back rhythm. (Note that it is a small & remote village). Noe & Martin, the managers, are amazing, so kind, caring, and always there to listen. A beautiful place with beautiful people

The lodge is a peace of paradise !! On the beach, close to a surf spot and in tiny village :) All the task are very easy if you love to cook and do cocktail. The accommodation is cozy with a queen bed for yourself (in a tent but a big one with a real bed and light). Perfect to practice your Spanish specialty with Martin (best Spanish teacher) and English with all the guest :) I recommend without any hesitation. Nos vemos Noe y Martin :))

Chacahua es un lugar maravilloso, el alojamiento tiene instalaciones divinas, mi espacio de trabajo era muy agradable, el espacio donde dormía era muy cómodo , los managers son sumamente amables, me hicieron sentir cómoda en todo momento, hacían comida deliciosa, en verdad recomiendo este voluntariado, estoy muy agradecida de que haya sido mi primera experiencia

Overall very amazing to be a volunteer in Casa G🤘🏽 The guests are personable and kind, a mix of europeans n north n south americans. Noe and Martin are great managers, they make all the difference. They connect the volunteers with local tour opportunities too :))) (the bioluminecense is wiild) Living in a tent felt challenging at times, mainly because while its hot there are only a few coolplaces to chill.. it felt strange to relax/be in the main guest spaces at times. The volunteer kitchen is very bare basics. Volunteer Food was a little unclear for me, but i think theyre figuring it out.

gracias aine!! fue un gusto poder recibirte, fuiste una voluntaria muy trabajadora con experiencia en cocina, nos dio una mano muy buena en eso. esperamos recibirte cuando gustes, tomamos tus opiniones en cuenta. en cuanto a la organizacion de la comida para voluntarios con tu caso nos fue muy complicado ya que no participabas de la comida comunitaria. la idea es que uno cocine para todos pero eso no fue posible asi que seguimos trabajando en ello. gracias por haber compartido con nosotros!

Absolutamente recomiendo the lodge! Hay actividades lindisimas con los huéspedes y el staff, se crea una comunidad muy linda, aprendí de cocina y comí delicioso, las instalaciones son hermosas, la ubicación no podría estar mejor y el equipo siempre muy comprensivo y flexible, me dieron puro amor, hice amistades de todo el mundo, practiqué muchísimo mi inglés, disfruté de la costa de oaxaca en mis días libres, wow una experiencia única! Hice una familia aquí, muchísimas gracias por todo JuanMi, Noe y Martín, les quiero un montón, definitivamente tengo que volver 🫶🏻
