Aktivitäten & Schichten

✨ Your Role & Work Plan at The Nomad House 🏝️
Volunteer Schedule:

Shifts: 5 hours per day, 5 days per week (two days off)

Shift times: 10am–3pm, 3pm–8pm, or 7pm–12am

When it’s not Full Moon season, shifts are often shorter, and sometimes we close the hostel for a few days (renovations, low season, or just because island life happens) – meaning you’ll often get extra time off 🏖️

Extra Party Vibes:

During Full Moon, things get wild – if you work a day shift that day, we’ll still need your help at night to:

Set up beer pong tables 🍺

Bring good vibes & connect with guests

Help at the bar if needed

For that extra energy, we reward you with extra days off and even more perks!

What You’ll Do:
🛎 Reception Hero – Welcome guests, check them in & out with a smile
🍹 Bar Buddy – Mix simple, fun drinks (no bartending skills needed)
🧹 Common Area Caretaker – Keep shared spaces tidy and inviting
🌱 Plant Waterer – Give love to our few outdoor plants so they stay happy and green
🪑 Table & Ashtray Patrol – Make sure tables are clean and ashtrays are empty
🚰 Water Station Helper – When the big drinking water bottles are delivered, bring them inside; when they’re empty, put them outside so the truck can replace them
🎉 Vibe Creator – Hang out, organize games, make friends, and keep the party going

Regeln

If you use our vehicle (such as a motorbike, car, or any other type) and it is damaged due to your actions, you will be responsible for covering the repair costs.

For music, outside volume must be reduced after 11:00 PM and turned off completely by midnight, as there is a hospital nearby. This helps avoid disturbing others and prevents complaints to the police. Indoor music may continue until 1:00 AM, but it must be kept at a low volume.
