We would like our guest/volunteer to help us in running our Holiday Let at the church which includes welcoming of guests, cleaning of apartments/suites, laundry, general service for guests as required plus some light garden work like weeding, greenhouse cleaning/watering, pruning, lawnmowing and some handyman jobs as required.

25 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Was Sie bekommen

2 freie Tage pro Woche

Privatzimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem privaten Zimmer. Mit anderen Worten, ein Zimmer nur für dich.

Frühstück: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Frühstück an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Mittagessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Mittagessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Abendessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Abendessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Kostenlose Wäsche: Du kannst unseren Waschraum frei nutzen.

Fahrräder zur Verfügung: Du kannst unsere Fahrräder jederzeit nutzen.

Abholung: Wir holen dich bei deiner Ankunft ab und bringen dich zu unserem Grundstück.

Nutze unsere ausgestattete Küche: Nutze gerne unsere Küche und bereite dein eigenes leckeres Essen zu.

Schneller Internetzugang: Hochgeschwindigkeits-Internet, damit du remote arbeiten kannst

Programmdetails

You as our guest/volunteer will be an active part of our small holiday let business at the church from dealing with guests to cleaning and small maintenance jobs.
As this will be not every day -as we usually work along you- and guests will not depart/arrive each day in the usually two units on offer, light garden work from lawn mowing via weeding to some pruning will assure you are not getting bored.

It would be ideal to have someone with a fair bit of knowledge/love for serving, cleaning and introducing of tourists to our beloved Scotland and a longing for nature as this is a very peaceful countryside location...whilst still just 5 miles from our council town, Elgin...and well, the strong interest to learn about culture and life in Scotland, we would expect...
--> there is only one single volunteer or one couple traveling together, no group of volunteers!
--> a longer commitment of 3 months and more would be very much appreciated for main tourist season in 2026!!!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Activities are usually morning based ending with a fresh prepared lunch shared with or prepared for you by us.

You need to be flexible as the work is governed by the running of the holiday let business & for outside by the scottish weather; as like as we are flexible to adapt to your plans within the 25 hours per week.

There are tasks to suit all abilities. We never ask you to do anything we wouldn't do ourselves and most of the time we collaborate together.

Regeln

We prefer non smokers.

Basic food is provided; some meals especially a hot lunch might be prepared for you if you like whilst you have a fully equipped kitchen at your studio to prepare the meals you like.

Privacy is important for us as we give you as well plenty private time to relax & to explore!
We live at first floor of the church and you in the back at ground floor in your very own fully equipped studio.
