As a volunteer veterinarian, we expect you to provide compassionate care to our wildlife, assist with medical treatments, conduct health checks, and support habitat enrichment efforts. In return, you’ll gain hands-on experience in conservation, work closely with dedicated professionals, and make a direct impact on protecting endangered species. Requirements: Veterinary qualifications or relevant experience in wildlife care. A passion for conservation is essential!
Aktivitäten & Schichten
We expect volunteers to be dedicated, compassionate, and adaptable. Veterinary work in a conservation setting can be unpredictable, so flexibility and problem-solving skills are crucial.
A Typical Day Could Include:
• Morning rounds to assess the health and well-being of animals.
• Hands-on veterinary procedures or assisting with rehabilitation efforts.
• Collaborating with other staff on habitat improvement or enrichment activities.
• Educational presentations or workshops with visitors and local communities.
• Evenings spent documenting the day’s work and brainstorming future initiatives.
