Working at the school was an incredibly fulfilling, enjoyable and eye opening experience. Everybody was very welcoming and there was lots of opportunity to get involved with teaching, marking and helping the school to run properly. I particularly enjoyed teaching lessons on English grammar, playing football with the kids at lunch time and the line up activities in the morning. I had my own room which was excellent, bed was comfy. Come with an open mind and a willingness to get involved!

This was an amazing experience which taught me so much about what life is actually like for countries like Cambodia. The teachers give you there “lesson plan” and let you teach the whole lesson if you would like to. There are is a long break at lunch time (over 2 hours), I asked one of the teachers if she could drive me to get a coffee and she was more then happy too. However it was till a long break. The accommodation is very very basic and in the other school, there a few restaurants and coffee sports near by and close to the temples which is nice.

Teaching here was such an amazing experience and Paul and Sar couldn't have been nicer. This school will hold a special place in my heart as it really made my travelling experience even better. Teaching children English here was just as educational for them as it was for me. It helped expand my knowledge and teaching capabilities, as well as really showing me what schools are like in Cambodia and the children's way of living. Accommodation was basic but absolutely lovely with some of the locals cooking us breakfast and lunch sitting together eating which was just a wonderful experience.

This experience is truly life changing. We loved staying at Paul's school. He and his wife are really welcoming. Also the teachers and the kids are so great and kind. We will definitely come back and are really sad to leave!! I would recommend it to anyone, even if you are not very confident in speaking, you don't need to have a lot of skills - so don't be scared!! This was the highlight of my trip. Thank you for everything🥰

This was our first volunteering experience and we will forever be grateful for it. We helped teaching children English in a local school in the project. The host and all the teachers, as well as the children were all really welcoming and nice to us.

My experience at the new life center was the best. I loved it and had a very good time and will definitely come again. The concept of the school is very good and you can see how much it contributes to the community and how much help is provided. Paul and his family are very nice and do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Visiting the school was definitely a highlight and I can wholeheartedly recommend it

I had a very good experience volunteering at New Life Center , you had the chance to live and work with other volunteers and local teachers. Your main task is to assist the local teachers and sometimes you have to teach by yourself. Working hours are very clear and specific. I would highly recommend this experience to other volunteers. Saa and Jo are very good hostess :) Communication is an opportunity area , so be ready to be flexible, open and creative to have the best experience.

Volunteering at New Life Center English School was an amazing experience! As a volunteer you get free accommodation (mattress in a room next to the school), breakfast and lunch. The location is really good, sometimes we walked to the city center. I worked with 8 other volunteers and we made an amazing team!! Your duty is to help teachers teach (sometimes you have to teach by yourself). The organization is not the best, so you have to be flexible and creative. I recommend this place! 😊
