✨ Housekeeping Volunteer Position – Join Our Team! ✨

We are looking for friendly, responsible, and motivated volunteers to join our housekeeping team at our hostel. If you enjoy working in a social and positive environment, love keeping spaces clean and welcoming, and want to be part of a vibrant community, this role is perfect for you!

🧹 What You Will Do

Help clean and maintain rooms, dorms, and common areas

Change bed linens and prepare rooms for new guests

Keep shared spaces tidy (kitchen, lounge, bathrooms, etc.)

Support the team with basic housekeeping tasks

Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests

⏰ Working Hours
12.00 to 17.00pm every day

Positive attitude, good teamwork, and respect for guests

Someone who enjoys community living and helping others

Housekeeping Volunteer Rules & Guidelines
1. Work Hours & Punctuality

Follow the agreed working schedule and be on time every day.

If you need time off or feel unwell, inform the manager in advance.

2. Cleaning Standards

Complete all assigned tasks carefully and to the required standard.

Always double-check rooms before marking them as “clean.”

Use cleaning products safely and responsibly.

3. Respect for Guests

Be polite and friendly at all times.

Never enter a guest’s room without knocking and getting permission.

Keep conversations low and avoid disturbing guests.

4. Respect for Property

Handle all hostel items (beds, linens, equipment) with care.

Report any damages or maintenance issues immediately.

Do not use guest belongings.

5. Personal Conduct

Maintain good personal hygiene and wear appropriate clothing during work.

No alcohol or drugs during working hours or before starting shifts.

Be respectful toward all staff, volunteers, and guests.

6. Common Areas

Keep volunteer living spaces tidy and clean.

Do not leave personal items in public areas.

7. Security & Safety

Ensure all doors and lockers are properly closed when leaving a room.

Follow all safety instructions for chemicals and equipment.

Report anything unusual or unsafe.

8. Use of Facilities

Volunteers can use hostel facilities responsibly (kitchen, pool, lounge).

Clean up after using any shared space.

No inviting outside friends without permission.

9. Confidentiality

Do not share guest information, internal matters, or private discussions.

10. Attitude & Teamwork

Be cooperative and help other volunteers when needed.

Have a positive attitude and communicate respectfully.

If any issue arises, speak to the manager immediately.
