During your stay here you will help teach locals, aged from 4-16 years old. Volunteers can expect to teach for 15 hours per week (for 3 hours a night, 5 evenings a week, with a break and snacks!)

We have two teachers from Ireland and USA working with our school, with local TA's who can help support you during your time with us!

While you aren't teaching, you are free to explore or relax. With drinks and game nights after class most evenings 😄

Programmdetails

I spent many years learning English in a formal classroom setting but still struggled to speak. I later moved to the Ho Chi Minh City and motivated myself to speak to foreigners and invite them for a coffee or give a tour to practice speaking English.

This inspired me to open my own school where I invite English speakers to come and practice conversation with my students. You will have an assistant to help in your class and you are there to share your English knowledge and talk! You do not need to have experience, but if you are studying to become an english teacher or have experience this is the perfect place for you!

We have been operating as a school since 2022, however we have only previously accepted volunteers through instagram, which you can find at ''travelers_teach_english4kids''. In your free time you are welcome to explore the town and beach, and I will give you local tours on my scooter and show you local life.
Lets share a Vietnamese coffee and some beers!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

My school has classes of 15-20 students, each class lasting for 1.5 hours. There are two evening classes on weekdays starting at 5:15pm and 7pm with a break inbetween.

Class scheduels are flexible and can change and the classes you help with may shift depending on how many volunteers I have at a time. Feel free to ask me!

On days off you are free to explore the areas around my town, with places like Mui Ne just a taxi or a scooter ride away. If you want a scooter while you are here they can be rented from Mui Ne for a reasonable rate. If you decide you want to relax that is perfectly fine too! In the evenings we frequently get together to play games, sing karaoke, drink beer and socialise with my local friends. If you want to emmerse yourself in local culture while making an impact on the youth in my town then you will be a great fit for this position.
