I absolutely loved my experience her so much that I came back and plan to again! Hywel is an excellent cook and food is plentiful, the property is absolutely beautiful and Hywel knows everything you can imagine about the local culture and history here. The working hours are respected and he is happy to accommodate requests and scheduling. He will even take you on local tours. Awesome!

I had a lovely time staying with Hywell! He had lots of stories and such a beautiful area, the house is so cosy and inviting. I learnt so much and especially loved the cooking:)) The work was very enjoyable being outside and gardening with flexible times.

Hywel is a wonderful person with amazing life stories and a big heart. The work was easy and always clearly explained. I even learned how to mow the lawn with his cute little tractor—which was a highlight! His two lovely and well-behaved dogs made everything even better. He also took us to visit nearby towns and showed us some cool local spots. Thank you, Hywel, for making us feel so welcome—we truly felt at home!

Had a fantastic week with this host! His cooking was amazing and always available, and we loved his movie picks and fascinating stories. He was super generous with rides and even gave us a tour of nearby towns. The work was light—just some gardening and chores—and we enjoyed every minute, especially hanging out with his two adorable dogs. Highly recommend!

It's been a beautiful experience in my life to visit these magnificent landscapes, friendly people, and amazing nature. If you're looking for a welcoming place full of peace, quiet, good food, and fun moments watching movies... This is a place you should visit. Thank you for teaching me about gardening, driving the tractor, and planting new plants and flowers. I wait to visit again later to see the apricot tree, the rose, the apples... and enjoy a natural cider. There's a nice garden house being rebuilt by another volunteer... Sure it will look great. Thanks Hywel!

Want to get some fresh air and serenity? So, the home is the perfect destination! This small corner of Welsh nature offers a soothing setting, between sea and mountain, with breathtaking views, both varied and surprising. The place is perfect for lovers of walks and discoveries, with many options for the more sporty, and a charming village below for the more adventurous. Hywel is an extremely kind and attentive person, who will provide you with support when needed. I really enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend it to anyone considering woofing.

I was immersed in nature for 2 weeks, Nevern is very pretty and the trekking to get to Newport offers beautiful views. Recommended experience!

We had a good time in Nevern! Hywel is very generous and give great advice for visit the surrendings and to hiking in amazing places. The house is in a very peaceful position and the landscapes are spectacular. The working hours are more than respected and he is very flexible. We also liked his film choices! We thank Hywel for the time we spend togheter.
