Couldn't be better!! Ezequiel is an awesome host, always open to chat and looking for every volunteer to enjoy the experience and feel comfortable. He offers everything that the description says and more! The tasks are simple and easy to follow, everything was respected. There is an incredible vibe going on the hostel, which is very nice and comfortable. Plus Gijon is a cozy and beautiful city, and near by there are quite natural places to discovered. I really wish I could've stayed longer. I got to meet incredible people and create memories with others Worldpackers. Definitely recommend 😁🫶🏻

This experience was AMAZING. For my first time using world packers this experience far exceeded any expectations I could've had. Ezequiel the manager is fantastic, you can go to him with anything and he'll be there to help, he's created such a wonderful place at the hostel.!The team truly made it feel like home and I feel so lucky to have met such wonderful people. This experience is perfect if you want to improve your surf skills, practice Spanish, skate, hike, swim, party- Gijón and NSH has it all! I would 1000% recommend this experience to other travelers!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I absolutely loved it. I wish I could have stayed longer! I had a wonderful time with lots of surfing, sunsets, skating, beach days and fun nights. The house felt like home, the team was amazing and Ezequiel is a caring, flexible host who makes sure everyone is comfortable. The tasks are easy to learn and the shifts give you plenty of time to enjoy Gijón and explore the area. I would highly recommend joining the team at the hostel - it's truly an unforgettable experience!

I had an outstanding experience! It's my 3rd time coming back to Gijón for surfing & volunteering. The hostel is super well located and the house has everything needed. The surf equipment is great and you can always join the lessons depending on your level free of charge. Ezequiel is a great person always willing to make you feel like home. The tasks aren't heavy and the hours are respected. I'm really grateful for this wonderful month with the team nad I hope to be back soon!

This trip exceeded my expectations by far. Right from the start, it felt like home. The beautiful house with the spacious garden to chill in the sun, play football and volleyball. The team that felt like family, sharing so many memories together from surfing, skating, sunsets, nightouts, ping pong games to pizza nights, we did it all. And last but not least a big shout out to Ezequiel. He is very considerate and always makes sure that everyone is feeling comfortable and content with their stay and work. I can't thank everyone enough for the amazing time I had that i will never forget. <3

What started as a 2 week agreement became an unforgettable experience of almost 2 months. /// There's too much to be said since Ezequiel and his abilities to choose, motivate and improve the team are on a league of its own. /// I'll keep it short'n'crunchy by sayin' that the only aspect that's not so utterly amazin' to become tough to be described in words, is the fact that one day u'll have to leave and miss everything about the NSH family. /// My best advice is to prepare for extending or returning so cheers and maybe see you too "en las olas Asturianas" ;)

Ahh where to start? I spent one month in Gijón at the hostel and I absolutely loved it, this place really felt like home. Ezequiel is very considerate of making you feel welcome and for everyone to enjoy their time. We were a team of 6-7 and we all went surfing and skating together, watched the sunsets and played beach volleyball, ping-pong, went out to party and soo much more. The work schedules were fair and the work is easy to understand and to do, and Ezequiel is always available for any questions and always open for new ideas and inspirations. So, 1000% recommended going here!:)

One of the most amazing and intense experiences I had. The team, the house and the vibe are wonderful and each day was full of activities and opportunities. Surfing in the mornings to watching the sunsets, creating unforgettable memories and bonding with all these beautiful people. Ezequiel is an exceptional host, always trying to ensure everything is perfect and everyone is having a good time. I leave with a heart full of gratitude. Highly suggested ❤️

First experience with worldpackers, cannot ask for a better one! Came to Gijón to find good people, good vibes and good waves, I found all of it and even more! I really found a family there, and all this thanks to Ezequiel, the owner of the hostel, that put the experience before anything else, the work part come in second place in a situation like that, if there is a sunny day or good waves, or even just if I had something private to do, he didn't even flinch and Change the shift without problem (as a handyman, but sure he can find solutions also for the other tasks). I just can say thanks 🙏❤

Ezequiel ofrece todo lo que tiene, verdaderamente se preocupa de que todos estemos a gusto en un espacio compartido. El hostel está limpio, ordenado y cada día que pasa va a mejor. El rango de actividades es muy grande, yo he estado con el hostel cerrado y aún así nos han impartido clases de surf con tutor, hablando con Eze me ha enseñado las actividades que empiezan en la apertura, yoga, breathwork, excursiones, noches de pizza, karaoke, cine... Si quieres disfrutar de una hermosa estancia este es sin duda un espacio genial para hacerlo. Fino señor@s, para sentirlo
