Thank you very much for the opportunity to volunteer at the hostel. This was my first experience working and volunteering in a hostel, and it was truly positive and enriching. While I felt a bit overwhelmed during the first days of learning and collaboration, I always felt supported. I would especially like to thank Rapha for the guidance, patience, and kindness that made my experience much smoother. The hostel is in a beautiful location with a warm and well-organized atmosphere. I'm very grateful for what I learned, the people I met, and the overall experience.

All of the volunteers left before their term... Very toxic environment. I never saw the owner, just one time, and had more interaction with his dog. The person in charge of 'training' us (we received no training whatsoever) spoke only Portuguese and basic Italian, and has to be the most unfriendly person I have ever met. Never talked to me directly, only through whatsapp. When I asked him if my shift was over - on my birthday nota bene, not that he would care - he just grunted. When I came back, I was asked to leave because I did not stay for my entire shift. To be avoided!

I had great moments at the hostel. It was my first volunteering experience, and at first I didn't fully understand all the tasks (reception, cleaning, and standards). However, after an adaptation period of about four days, everything started to flow much better. I connected with amazing people and also had time to enjoy the city. Unfortunately, I had to shorten my stay due to work and scheduling reasons, but I will take with me wonderful memories of Taormina, the guests, the other volunteers, and the hostel staff. Thanks, guys! I wish you all the best. 😊

The hostel, was an amazing experience. From the time with other voulenteers, to time spent with guest. I met so many beautiful people. Lovely area to spend time in Sicilia. You truly get to immerse yourself with locals. And some of the staff truly helps you with learning Italian. It was a pleasure volunteering there.

Fue una experiencia muy linda. Lo mejor, definitivamente, fue conocer a los chicos que trabajan en el hostel y al equipo de colaboradores, se generó un vínculo muy lindo! En relación a las tareas, son fáciles de realizar y queda tiempo suficiente para recorrer Taormina, que es bellísima! Feliz y agradecida!! ✨

It was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't be happier with the decision I made. Everyone welcomed me warmly and I met a wonderful group of people. And of course, Taormina is a magical place. I highly recommend it

La experiencia en el ostello fue buena. Hice muchas amistades y conecté con gente increíble. El trabajo no era pesado, se hacía fácil. La gente del ostello era muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar. A pesar de algún malentendido todo se solucionó al final, y me quedo con lo positivo que me ha traído esta experiencia tan enriquecedora. Gracias a todos por haberme hecho sentir como en casa el tiempo que estuve, espero que todo vaya genial y volver a Taormina.

Dal primissimo secondo nel hostel mi sono sentita a casa. Grazia mi ha accolta con un grande sorriso e gli altri volontari con tanti abbracci. La mia esperienza è stata semplicemente incredibile, darei mille stelle se potessi! Il team è sensazionale, una vera “famiglia lontano da casa”.
Il lavoro è molto tranquillo, ben organizzato e sempre svolto in un’atmosfera leggera. Mi sono sentita valorizzata, rispettata e parte di qualcosa di speciale. Sono molto grata per tutto quello che ho vissuto qui. Consiglio questo posto a occhi chiusi!

I felt very welcomed since my first day in the hostel🫶🏼 It was very social and the staff crew was an amazing mix of different nationalities. We were all like a big family! We had dinner together, went out for drinks together and obviously all worked together as a team. It was my first ever volunteering experience and I absolutely loved it🤍

The experience was simply incredible, I will never forget it! Everyone treated me very well and I felt at home every single day. The hostel is very cozy and clean. I will never forget the afternoons on the terrace with the best view of Taormina. The work is super easy and flexible, I have nothing to complain about. I only have compliments. I hope to see you again. GRAZIE.
