Minha experiência no surf o surf camp foi incrível. David foi um anfitrião maravilhoso, ele é uma pessoa fantástica e foi um prazer poder conhece-lo. A casa é linda, confortável e tem uma energia surreal. Recomendo muito a experiência e quero pode voltar como turista futuramente!

My experience with David and Amanda was fantastic! They treated me like family, even during the low season. The place is lively, and I even got a free surf lesson and joined them on trips to amazing spots like Nazaré. It was an unforgettable experience, and I would love to return. Highly recommend!

Great & practice location. Several issues affected my stay. Main problem: organization & communication. A lot of changing plan and last minute task. The agreed exchange of work for benefits was not fully respected, extra hours are required to do surf lessons for exemple. Never heard of yoga or anything other tours that was inside the “what you get” spacing in Wp. I felt unheard when it cames to talk about concerns or feedback.. David keeps jumping topics and i could not really place a word in the conversation, making it hard to feel truly listened. Could have potentiel but not what i expected

We was very clear during all our conversations before you arrive, its a shame that you come here to lie about things that we have proofs.. our mistake was having you here so long, bad work and energy in many ways.. even other volunteer complain about you.. you went here just for party and "surfing" or look for surfers.. but firts there are responsabilitys.. about the last minute changes its normal when you work in the high season, when there is a new team and changes with guests etc..

My stay at the the surf the surf the surf camp was a bit difficult.. David is really focus on his business and not really well organized which led to uncomfortable situations. The 4 hours of cleaning is intense because there's a lot to do and you do it mostly alone. On top of these hours, extra work is expected when you're in the house if you want some extras from him (surfing, etc). The social media job was better than the cleaning one, but still demanding since he ask minimum 6 stories a day. The surf instructor was really fun tho and I still managed to have fun, but it was a roller coaster.

you don´t know even how to manage you bed and room, was always dirty and smelly, food and dirty clothes every where.. and other volunteers complained and you come here to talk about organization and comunication? shame on you. you should leave when we had the first talk, you asked me to stay, that you will change your position and atitud, in the end was worst.. we did a bad choice.. this surfcamp is based on effort, work and responsability like every business, surfcamp doens´t mean party and sex

I wish David the best in his endeavor w his hostel but I wish he would communicate better. First, he asks for me to come 1 week earlier in my travels. I cut 4 days off my travels but then he does not have a bed available in the hostel because the other volunteer is still there so he puts me up in his house. Which is fine. Very last minute but no communication. There's very little yoga to teach & so when not teaching yoga I'm supposed to be doing check ins which is easy work but hours not truly respected as I'm stuck at the hostel from 3pm until the last check in-sometimes as late as 11pm/12am.

Nossa primeira experiência com a WP não poderia ter sido melhor. Ter escolhido o the the surf the surf the surf camp pra voluntariar foi muito especial. Mesmo que tenha sido pouco tempo, conhecemos pessoas muito especiais, praticamos idiomas, conhecemos Cascais da melhor forma! Nosso anfitrião do início ao fim foi super comunicativo e respeitoso, se tornou um amigo. As tarefas foram tranquilas de fazer e com flexibilidade para que ficasse bom para ambos. Além de tudo, fizemos alguns passeios com o hostel e conhecemos lugares maravilhosos. Queremos voltar mais uma vez, mas da próxima como hóspedes! ♥️

David was super welcoming! At the beginning there was a change in work wich he was very clear and kind about. The work was easy and flexible. The people were kind, place was clean, amazing bbq's, super surf and overall a very nice atmosphere. Would reccomend volunteering here. Thankfull for my time here.

Couldn't ask for a better experience for my first time volunteering. The surf house was so fun and welcoming to guests and volunteers!! I felt like home after just couple days:) David is the nicest and most relaxed person, it was fun to work with him! The tasks were chill and easy

I had a great time volunteering at the the surf the surf the surf camp, taking care of their social media! The work was very nice and flexible, I didn't have the scheduled days off but since I could plan the work and schedule my own time it was totally fine. David is a great the surf the surf the surf camp and I'm very happy to have spent time with him and the lovely team, that are now also friends! Also, the place is cozy and David always makes sure that the vibes are good and that you feel at home! I will definitely come back some day. David, thank you and I wish you all the best!
