I had an amazing time volunteering at this hostel! The tasks really manageable and didn't take much time, leaving a lot of time to enjoy the surroundings. Ayuz and Estefi were incredibly kind and made the experience even better. They were always there to help and made sure I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay. It was a great place to for my first Worldpackers experience.

Mi experiencia a the hostel ha sido muy agradable. Ayuz y Estefi son muy amables y easy-going. El entorno del hostal es dinamico y muy interesante, hay muchísimas ocasiones de conocer personas nuevas y internacionales. Las tareas son simples y dejan mucho tiempo libre para visitar la isla. Lo recomiendo! :)

This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. The tasks were super easy and most of the days, they hardly took any time at all. The location is amazing for people who want to explore the island (by bus) but would also like to swim in the sea or surf. I felt very respected and safe the whole time. Ayuz, Estefi and the other volunteers were like a second family to me during my stay. We spent most of the evenings (and also took a few day trips) together and I had SO MUCH fun!! I would definitely recommend the hostel to anyone who's thinking about applying!

Fue mi primera experiencia como voluntaria y no podría haber sido mejor. Me sentí como en casa desde el primer momento. Tanto Estefi como Ayuz y los voluntarios son personas geniales con los que puedes hacer planes maravillosos y divertirte mucho. Cuando llega el momento de la despedida cuesta mucho dejar ese lugar, hay tanto amor que si no tuviese responsabilidades en mi ciudad hubiese alargado mi estancia 🫶🏼 En pocas palabras: increíble ♥️ Por cierto, las instalaciones geniales y para moverte por la isla a 5 minutos tienes la estación de Guaguas por lo que puedes conocer la isla a fondo.

This experience has been amazing and incredible. the hostel is such a cool hostel full of interesting people to meet. The host really look forward to make you fell comfortable and in a safe social environment: everyone is welcome! Besides your home country, your sexual orientation or whatever. If you choose the hostel You're gonna make lifetime memories and of course the location is amazing: discovering Gran Canaria, surfing, doing road trip amazed me every day more and more. It's suuuuper recommended!!

The time I spent here was incredibly valuable for my personal growth and unforgettable memories. I was surrounded the wonderful hosts and fellow volunteers who were full of care and hospitality, and I was able to work in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying the stunning natural beauty of Gran Canaria. Additionally, this experience helped me improve my English through frequent communication with both of coworkers and guests. I definitely want to return here, as it was such a comfortable and welcoming place. I highly recommend volunterring here.

Increíble experiencia 🫶🏻 el hostel es un hostel hermoso, limpio y muy bien ubicado en el centro de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Ayus nos enseñó las tareas de recepción y limpieza a la perfección y Estefi estuvo a disposición y con información clara y precisa en todo momento, nos hicieron sentir realmente como en casa, unas genias. Este voluntariado nos ayudó a practicar nuestro inglés, conocer viajeros de todo el mundo (incluso compartir viajes cortos y salidas con algunos de ellos) y la ubicación fue muy cómoda para todas estas actividades. Sin dudas vamos a volver muy pronto. ¡Gracias!

DO NOT VOLUNTEER HERE. These women are feminist and extremely demanding and unpleasant to be around. They threatened to call the police on guests in front of me and they are disrespectful and rude. The hostel has a terrible smell and they are not welcoming or friendly people. I have traveled almost every city in Spain worst experience of all of them.
