Tuve una experencia muy buena, la gente fue super buena onda, super amable, salí con recuerdos muy lindos. Los horarios fueron respetados, las tareas sencillas. Además, si le gusta parchar, la ubicación es buenísima, en el barrio hay restaurantes, bares y discotecas en todos lados!

AMAZING! , This was my first experience with world packers, , VIVI is extremely kind and welcoming and was very patient especially with the language barrier , they actually gave me the night off for my birthday which was unexpected and very nice , all the volunteers were extremely kind as well, the location is perfect, vivi runs an organized hostel and her positivity is amazing , I recommend this to anyone looking to come to Medellin! you will not regret volunteering here!

La pase muy bien durante mi estadía de 1 mes en almanik! Trabajar 5 horas por día en la recepción es bastante tranquilo. Vivi fue una muy buena anfitriona, siempre dispuesta a enseñar. La ubicación es en un barrio seguro rodeado de restaurantes y bares.

I loved my time at Almanik, everyone was so friendly from the people staying to the other volunteers and staff/owner. Work was relaxed, location is great, days were calm yet fun. I would definitely recommend ❤️

Me encanto el lugar y todos a quienes tuve la oportunidad de conocer aquí, lo sentí como mi segunda familia y todo, por lo que pasamos muchos momentos y anécdotas juntos, albergando a este creador de contenido que soy yo, y que siempre todos fueron dispuestos a colaborar en los videos jajaja me voy llevando unos grandes recuerdos y amigos también, especialmente por el argentino colombiano Mariano y por la boss Vivi, encantado de este gran equipo y lo recomiendo mucho a otros viajeros. Que lindo fue compartir este mes en Medellín en el hostel! El hostel está cerca de todo, bien ubicado, y las tareas son tranquilas y se respetan los horarios acordados. Ya quiero volver!

Perfect place to befriend locals and other people from Suramérica, therefore perfect to learn/practice Spanish : I didn't speak it at my arrival and I can easily talk to anybody about various subjects now. The team is great and easy, likes to show around the culture and Medellin. The job at the reception is easy but with some responsibilities too, and let you time to visit the city. I spent a month there but could have stayed once more easily.
