Receptionist/bartender wanted! :)
Das Erlebnis
Are you customer friendly, hardworking and organized? Do you speak fluent English? Do you quickly master computer software? Or do you know how to poor a beer or make latte art? Join us at the bar or reception! Check our guests in and out, help with taking orders at the bar, making coffees, serving breakfast, and assisting with housekeeping when needed. All in all, it's a very versatile role! :) In this role, you will work four days a week.

Programmdetails
At Hostel & Bar De Basis, we have an average of six to eight volunteers working in various roles. Curious about night shifts and housekeeping duties? Check out our other vacancies :) The hostel consists of 12 rooms with a total of 44 beds. Additionally, we have a bar/restaurant on the ground floor where we mainly serve vegetarian dishes. Once a month, we host live music, parties, and other events.
Besides that, we have a team member that loves a lot of attention. His name is Bennie and he is a cobberdog/cockapoo :) He's born on the 21st of April. Since he is a Doodle, he's a hypoallergenic dog. He will be around quite some time and we'd love you to puppy sit once in a while ;)
Aktivitäten & Schichten
The working hours vary. Last month, we started working with volunteers for the reception shifts. These shifts run from Monday to Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM. During the shifts, you check in new guests, answer questions about the city and things to do, inform guests about our restaurant, etc. When its quiet moment, you help out at the bar :)
We have'nt worked with volunteers at the bar, so that will be a first! :) The working hours may vary. You could be working during breakfast and lunch (daytime) or during pub hours or an event in the evening.
Regeln
We do accept couples and pairs but the other will work in another position (housekeeping or nightshift). We try our best to get you at least one day off together.
