I can't quite put my experience into words — and of course my opinion is biased, because the Rafikis team became my family. The work is amazing, and for anyone who enjoys social interaction, there truly isn't a better place. Schedules are respected, everything is organized, and all they ask in return is commitment. I loved the energy, the team, and everything we lived there. My family in Dahab — a part of my life I will never forget. Thank you for everything. (I won't mention names because every single person was wonderful to me.)

I had the most amazing time at the hostel in Dahab! From the moment I arrived, the vibe was absolutely incredible. The team at the hostel is top-notch—so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They went above and beyond to introduce me to the city and its amazing culture, showing me the best spots and the hidden gems that make Dahab so unique. What I loved the most were the daily events and activities—they really created a sense of community and fun. Every day there was something to do, whether it was a group outing, a diving trip, or just chilling with fellow travelers.

Absolutely loved volunteering for the hostel! I have experience volunteering for different hostels and this one is definitely doing A LOT of things right for the short time they've been operating. I loved the quality of events we were in charge of. They don't joke around with that. At first it was a bit overwhelming learning so much and so fast but then I got the hang of it and every manager did remind me of my capabilities and were willing to talk things through when mistakes happened, which is something I highly appreciate! I finished this experience with a huge smile on my face! Thank youu!

Being part of the hostel's team was a dream come true, and I'm so thankful to everyone who made my journey unforgettable. It wasn't just a job – it was an incredible experience where I learned so much about hospitality and met amazing people. As an event organiser, I spent time chatting with guests, promoting hostel events, and ensuring everyone felt welcome. I also attended plenty of events, picking up skills and insights along the way. Volunteering at the hostel was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Dahab is a very special town that truly changed my life. The hostel is a perfect place to meet people from all over the world! For me, though, the thing that makes it special is the opportunity to connect with locals. Many Egyptians stay at the hostel, and it's beautiful to connect with them. At the hostel, you're genuinely treated as a volunteer, and the staff members are the kindest people I've ever met. I'm really grateful for this experience and hope to come back soon! <3

I should consider this my first real volunteer experience. This was the first time I was actually helping instead of working. My tasks were basically axiliate a paid worker in the events, talk and have fun with guests. I had so much fun with everyone, and always had enough time to enjoy the city. Thank you so much for this experience you guys made my life worth living in this place.

Right from the beginning I knew the experience would be amazing. The events- so fun, the staff- friendly, and the hostel- incredibly clean. But it came with some struggles. My commitment was creating 4 videos a week. My manager created a calendar for me to follow, which I completed every task and helped double their reach from previous month. In the end, I was told that I'm not being productive as I hadn't followed the commitment, after completing every task assigned. I think they could use management training. Wasn't enjoying in the end. I would go back as a guest. <3 bfast by chef reham.
