Gaz, Faria, and the hostel all made me feel super welcome here and are the nicest people ever. Another traveller was injured and they took care of her like one of their own. The work was pretty chill and not too tiring with lots of free time during the day. Most tourists who stay here stay just one night so you get to meet new travellers every day. The home and view are so beautiful too. I would definitely recommend working here!

I had the most amazing time at the hostel! Truly became a home away from home and I am already planning on come back next summer! 2 weeks was not enough! You work breakfast and dinner so you have a lot of hours in between to explore the property and mountains all around. The family running this place are truly the kindest people I have ever known. I am so grateful to have found this place and will be back soon! Highly recommend to anyone especially if you love to hike!!!

I spend one month at the hostel, and I had such a wonderful time. The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful and you have a lot of time to go on hikes. The work is easy and consistent. Be prepared for a lot of peace and connecting with nature during your stay here! Thank you to Gaz, the hostel and Fariah for welcoming me with open arms! I hope to return someday! :)

I had an incredible experience with the guesthouse. Gaze and his family are such wonderful people. Valbonë is truly stunning and has some incredible hikes. An amazing place to rest and recharge. I was there for a month and the food was always amazing. They care so much about their guest and volunteer experience. Very comfortable accommodation. Cannot rate them highly enough.

I'm so grateful for this experience! the hostel, Faria, and Gaz are incredibly warm and kind people, and I felt comfortable at the guesthouse very quickly. The work is straightforward with a few hours in the mornings and evenings, leaving the days free to explore hikes around beautiful Valbonë. It's clear a lot of love has gone into their business and it was a pleasure to be a part of - I'd return in a heartbeat!

My time volunteering at the guesthouse with the hostel family was something truly special. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed not just as a visitor or volunteer, but as a daughter. The warmth, the kindness, the laughter, the food (!!), the slow rhythm of life here — it all created a space where I could breathe deeply, live intentionally, and connect with people in the most genuine way. The work was clear and fair, and I had lots of time to enjoy the beauty of the valley and hike. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Fariah, the hostel, Gazi and Ana ❤️‍🔥

My experience as a volunteer at the mountain guest house was exceptional✨️. From the first moment, I felt like I was part of the family, surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All the members of the family are so sweet💕. Also, the views were breathtaking, making every day special. The tasks assigned to me were fair and respected at all times, allowing me to enjoy plenty of free time to explore nature through amazing hikes. This combination of work and time to enjoy the surroundings made my experience unforgettable. Without a doubt, a place I hope to return to.Highly recommended to go☺

By far the most incredible volunteering experience we have ever had. As cheesy as it sounds they really have made Valbonne a home away from home. Fariah, Gazi and the hostel were the most helpful, welcoming and generous hosts anyone can ask for. They went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their home is beautiful, the food is delicious and the work hours are fair. Staying for 2 weeks was one of the best decisions of our trip. We are ever grateful for this experience and can't wait to come back to our Albanian family.

Absolutely wonderful experience in such a stunning location! Gazi and his mother and father run a such beautiful guest house and are so welcoming, kind and hardworking. I would highly recommend if you are considering volunteering with them, do! The hours are respected, and the work is very simple too. Cannot thank them enough for their hospitality :)

Our stay in Fahria's and Gaz's place was awesome. The work was quite easy to do and the hours were ok to work. They made us feel at home since day one and also made us feel like if we were part of the family. The room we stayed at was very comfortable and food was always available 🥹 the place is a bit far away from any city so buying stuff is kinda hard to do, but one special thing is doing the hikings around the place, which has very nice views. We loved the experience and also loved getting to know Gaz and Fahria a bit more 🥰 you'll be forever in our hearts 💕
