This was the perfect place for anyone who wants to learn about sustainablility and permaculture. Silvia and Orlando were great hosts and teachers. During my time at the communityI got to develop my green thumb, assist in the kitchen, and be immersed in nature and the animals including the cute chickens ;) The river and the waterfall is also very beautiful. I'm very thankful that I got to exist in their community and help out around the project. Muito Obrigada to everyone for a wonderful experience.

All in all I had an amazing time inthe community! I helped mostly with building a roof which was a lot of fun. I learned a lot since I never did something similar and with the trust I received I had a real hands on experience :) Silvia and Orlando have a huge knowledge and are really passionate about what they're doing - which is super motivating and inspirational. Once you get to know everyone you'll find out they're very welcome, kind and generous. The place itself and the surroundings are beautiful and you'll really learn what it means to live as a community :)

Amazing I recommend to everyone this expirience! The place is amazing and the hosts, Silvia and Orlando, are super nice. They are very welcoming and kind. The tasks are not so hard and are always explained very well. I learn a lot here about gardening and building!! I'm greatful for this expirience, thank you so much☀️

My experience at the communitywas very special. Everything about the place is great. The people are sweet, the scenery is wicked, and the days are always fun. I spent the majority of my working hours building a roof and became quite comfortable with all the tools and the building process. I am very grateful for this experience and would totally recommend it to anyone who is interested. I hope to be back one day. Até jà

This was my first worldpackers experience and I am very happy about it! Silvia and Orlando are wonderful hosts with a lot of knowledge about plants, community living and even music! And after a month living here this place already felt like home<3 It is surrounded in a beautiful nature with a little farm of animals. Also it's very close to the beach and it's pretty cheap to drive there with taxi. I'm grateful for this opportunity to be here and I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to spend more time in nature!

I can recommend to anyone :) Orlando and Silvia are really welcoming. The work was always well explained and reasonable, plus you will learn a lot! As a volunteer you are treated as part of the community from the beginning and also welcomed to join the courses taking place there. Silvia and Orlando are very passionate about permaculture and the project is really inspiring I hope to return soon ❤️

My first Worldpackers experience was a valuable challenge. It was my first time on an eco-construction project. Thank you Orlando for being kind and encouraging. your words, "it's your first time but you're a natural," are something I will take with me as I learn new skills. Thank you to Silvia for your advice and encouragement for my upcoming project. It meant a lot :) Ilídio, you have a lovely, kind heart. Thanks for everything. A suggestion: clearer communication would help ensure an issue with one volunteer doesn't affect the experience of others volunteers and the environment.

It has been a truly positive experience. The environment is welcoming, surrounded by nature, and offers many opportunities for learning. The people who come here are wonderful and really enrich the experience creating a great sense of community. Working hours can be flexible and tasks are always different and interesting. I especially appreciated being involved in hands-on work right away, with clear explanations and great guidance. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to enhance communication in order to create an even safer and more supportive environment.

Im so grateful for this experience with Sylvia and Orlando.Thank you so much.its a real school where you can get genuine knowledges during the course but apart of it you can feel how school provides you great understanding of community spirit and what community basically is and you can really feel this spirit in it.also it was a bonus for me having a great organic delicious food and veggies from the garden during the course.this family very generous.on the table you always can get fruits snacks and etc.all the best tothe community✌️
