My time at the farm is something I'll never forget. Coming from the hustle of London, it was such a gift to slow down and enjoy nature, surrounded by the sweetest dogs and animals. Joanna and Gio were incredibly welcoming—I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. I ended up leaving a bit earlier than planned, but Jo handled it all with so much kindness and understanding. Thank you Jo, Gio and Ara for everything💚

Enjoyed the stay here with hosts joana and gio. Very nice people ,nice facilities .gardening for most of the stay. Nice to be out in the beautiful sunshine. Great animals .Great food and lovely to take a dip in the pool. Also had a lend of hosts car to explore around the area on days off which was very nice. Beautiful countryside spot

Joane & Geo were friendly hosts and we got on well. The work was mostly outdoors, hedge cutting, weeding, painting etc. The property is lovely and our accommodation was perfect. Geo cooked us some very tasty Italian food . They have a beautiful baby daughter and the dogs and cat were absolutely gorgeous . I loved the young goat also beloved his ear scratches! We were allowed use the pool also when there's was no guests. Unfortunately we had to leave after nearly 3 of our 5 weeks due to unforseen circumstances. Wishing them well for future world packers!

I had a very transformative time at the farm. The place is beautiful and perfect to get some detox from city and enjoy nature. The work was fun and Joana tried her best to make me feel comfortable. Since Cabeço de Vide is pretty much on the countryside a drivers license is recommended to be able to explore the surrounding areas. I took a lot of beautiful memories and ispiratipn with me. I will be happy to return to the farm and see the grown baby Kamilla :)

Joanna and Gio were great hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They were more than willing to cater to my dietary requirements and get whatever I liked to eat for my meals. The tasks were pretty simple mainly caring for the animals, a bit of cleaning in the kitchen and working in the B&B. The animals are so friendly and love their cuddles! I had such a great time and would visit again if the opportunity arose.

I would highly recommend Giovanni & Joana's hospitality & experience on what they provide. They are understanding, extremely kind & hospitable to what they provide. The labour is not too strenuous, the environment is peaceful, the animals were the best company on days alone(especially the dogs)and the hotel work was a joy to be able to participate in serving others. Thank you for everything Joana & Giovanni it was an absolute joy & a pleasure to be hosted by such a kind, generous & welcoming couple & such a pleasure to be on hand to free up your time to be focusing on baby Camilla

Our experience at the farm was amazing! Joana and Gio made us feel extremely welcome! They were always open for improvements and Questions. They also always asked us to join when going to a different city so we could do some sightseeing. The working hours of 25h per week as well as the free days were always respected. Tasks were mostly helping in the B&B or outside work. It was really a good place to calm down and enjoy the nature! Personally during our stay we only had WIFI in the Guesthouse/B&B, which we were always aloud to access during the week :)

Nice and cozy place near small village. Friendly hosts with lots of friendly animals 🥹. On our days off we could borrow a car which was great! Because of the car, we were able to visit amazing places. I would love to come back to this place again. I absolutely recommend you to visit the farm and to meet Joana and Giovanni.<3

Staying at the farm was great experience and I enjoyed every second of it. Since this was my first time using WorldPackers I was bit worried, but Joana and her husband welcomed me and my boyfriend with a smile and made us feel like home from the very first day. I loved staying in the countryside and exploring the surrounding nature and culture. I can only recommend visiting this place and meeting the hosts with their lovely animals <3
