My first volunteering experience was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better one! Gjiergji is incredible person and kind soul, I found out many interesting stories about Albania, he made me feel like at home. Work was super simple : cleaning main kitchen,cleaning bathrooms, making beds, doing laundry. I was connect with nature every day, make friends from all over the world. If you're looking for an experience near the beach with great waves I highly recommend this one!

My time spent at the hostel was fantastic! Gjergji is a very kind and generous host who provides the best advice for enjoying your time in Albania. The hostel is cozy and sharing a room with the other amazing volunteers was such a fun experience. Given I was there during off-season, there wasn't much work required, but when there was, it was super simple: changing beds, cleaning rooms, and doing laundry. Gjergji is kind enough to provide bikes as well so exploring the seaside and mountains is very doable. I will miss the cats, dogs, natural beauty, and people of Himarë so much!

Gjergi was an incredibly kind and attentive host. I especially highlight his willingness to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Without a doubt, I recommend volunteering here to enjoy both the nature and the sea. The place has everything you need to feel at home, and Gjergi makes sure of that. Regarding the daily tasks, I was responsible for cleaning rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and more, which was easy to do since everything you need is provided. I truly enjoyed my stay, and without a doubt, it's a place I would gladly return to. Thank you so much for everything, Gjergi :)

Moraima is very friendly, cheerful and proactive, always with a good disposition to do cleaning tasks, tidying up, etc. I definitely recommend

It's my first experience volunteering, and everything was perfect. I had a low season, with few guests, and there was not much homework, but Gjergji has very kindly indicated all the tasks to us. I highlight Gjergji as a great host, one day off he took the volunteers for a walk and taught us about Himara. Thanks for everything! I'll be back soon :)

The hostel was my first volunteering experience, and it was lovely! Deniz and Gjergji were kind and clear about every task, which were mainly cleaning. The schedule was respected and everything was transparent. Himarë is beautiful, but keep in mind that in low season the town is really quiet—many places are closed, buses aren't reliable, and everything runs on cash. Still, I'm grateful for the experience and would recommend it to volunteers looking for peace, nature, and good vibes.

I loved every day of my stay at the hostel! The owners are so kind, always making sure I was comfortable and having fun. The work itself was easy, basic reception stuff, and I spent most of my shift socializing with the guests, it rarely ever felt like “work”. You get a lot of free time outside your shifts, and the family dinners and karaoke nights were highlights. The town itself is super cute and the beaches are incredible, while both the town and beaches are a bit far from the hostel (15min walk at least) volunteers get bikes so it's easier. I would definitely come back!!

It was an unforgettable experience that we would definitely repeat. As for the owners, they are amazing and very nice people and with the rest of the people in the hostel there is a very good atmosphere, dinners all together, karaoke... The work is very well distributed and leaves time for you to enjoy visiting the site and the beaches. Besides, Albania is an incredible place and without a doubt a perfect place to da volunteer work like this.

I 100% recommend this place. I stayed 2 weeks and loved every single day of this experience! The owners are lovely and truly care for you. The "work" is really easy, all you need to do is get people checked in, replace the sheets of a few beds and serve beers to guests depending on when your shifts are. The location is fantastic as well as meeting the new guests that come and go. It is also a really cheap and less touristic area of Albania which is perfect as you basically go to the beach everyday, life couldn't get any better. I will for sure return if I am ever in the area again.

We spent three weeks at this hostel, and it was our first volunteering experience. I couldn't have wished for a better one because it was wonderful and awesome. Our hosts were very helpful and kind. Whenever we needed a little help, they were right there to assist us and answered all our questions. I went with my boyfriend, and we were always able to work together. The shifts were very short, and the work was easy. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!
