Simon and his family were very kind and respectful, and our stay was very pleasant. The tasks were very clear and easy to complete. We were able to cook traditional Mexican food for them, and our family Sundays were wonderful.🤗🤗🤗 See you soon

From the day one I felt very welcoming. Simon, Caroline, Evie, Will, Nelsol and Zennor were very kind. Our site to sleep was really lovely and comfortable. Simon and Caroline were always looking out for us, the tasks were easy to do, and I learned about the bees. They always respect your time and are very flexible with it. The tours to the National Park and Plymouth were amazing. They always do the best effort for you. Thank you Simon.

Foi minha segunda experiência com a Worldpackers. E foi surreal passar esse tempo com Simon e sua família! Aprendi muito com ele sobre seus trabalhos com abelhas, ele foi super paciente com meu inglês que é bem básico ainda, e sempre muito preocupado com minha estadia, com meu bem estar no geral! Foi literalmente perfeito! Obg por tudo, saudades 🙏🏾❤️

It was a unique and wonderful experience since I arrived here. Simon is an excellent person and very patient. He taught me a lot while working. Caroline always helped me with any problem I needed. Evie, Will, and their two children. I enjoyed many trips together on the weekends with them. They were always very cheerful and kind. I liked life in the countryside and the landscapes are beautiful. The daily walks through the forest with their two dogs were very fun. I loved their delicious pasta and pizza for dinner.If you want to have an unique experience, Grannys the home is the best option.

I'm very happy of meeting Simon & Caroline during my first experience with Worldpackers, I couldn't imagine anything better!! I have lived a total immersion in a warming and welcoming family, always kind and good mood. With nice and interesting tasks, I've learnt a lot of things about bees! Healthy and delicious meals. I had my own space in the cabin,where you have all you need. Public transport is not accessible on foot, but on the other hand you are relaxed in the countryside surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes. It has been an unforgettable experience and I'm very grateful to you!!

I have been volunteering for already 8 months and I can easily say that the experience at Granny's the home was one of the best ones! More than a great experience it was a lesson for life! Simon and Caroline are great human beings! All the time they interact with care and joy asking with you are well or happy with the task you are doing! The working hours are respected and the tasks are easy and pleasant. I worked in the garden, construction and with the bees🐝🤩! Their family and dogs are beautiful and happy bringing even more joy at the environment! All the best ! Please to meet you guys!

El trabajo depende de lo que necesiten, pero de todas maneras es super sencillo y flexible. Disfrute mucho aprender de construcción, los paseos y los sunday roast ♥️

Granny's the home is a hidden gem in the picturesque countryside of Devon. The entire family is welcoming, patient, and caring. The food was healthy and prepared with love—showing that British food is much more than fish and chips! My main work involved helping with workshop construction, with occasional tasks related to beekeeping, which were easy & full of interest. I always felt trusted and appreciated. Living with a family spanning 90 years let me fully experience British family life rich with wisdom and warmt. Cornwall's cliff coast and Devon's moorland created also memories I never forget.

I never thought that I'd had such a lovely experience. Simon's family were extremely supportive and kind. I've learned many valuable things from them, from their passion for supporting their local community, and to help everybody. The work is very interesting. It'll change depending on the weather and some other circumstances. I had no idea of construction, but it was super easy to learn. Simon was very open to help. During my stay I've visit many parts from Devon and the family helped me moving whenever I needed. I cannot wait to be back soon, I felt so relaxed and happy with everyone.

A very lovely experience! Simon, Caroline and their family are very nice and make you feel part of the family, they worried a lot about our wellbeing and even took us with them to visit beautiful places around Devon. The work is easy, varied and you will learn a lot about building and bees. You can also always help in the garden or in the kitchen. The dogs are also always happy to play with you... You definitely won't get bored in Granny's the home!!
