We’re seeking volunteers with a positive attitude and a love for nature! Join us in maintaining our small resort and campground. Your help will be needed for 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with tasks like housekeeping, watering flowers, campground upkeep, land cleanup, and whatever else comes up.

Programmdetails

We are young entrepreneurs, we own a resort & campground, located on the same property we live on. We have hosted volunteers for many years and we are looking forward to hosting travellers, showing you our beautiful home and making new friends :) We have a large area of natural land (150+ acres) in the Columbia Valley, a few kilometres north of Fairmont Hot Springs (1.5hours drive to Banff). There will be many odd jobs around the property as we continue to develop our small resort with 8 log cabins, 2 glamping domes, 26 campsites and a 18 hole disc golf course. We are always working on developing and maintaining this beautiful place. We have come a long way in the last six years, starting with a very raw/untouched property. We have a bit of a small community here, with a few smaller houses next to ours. There's a nice family/communal vibe we have going on.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We expect you to work 4 hours a day, 5 days per week. From our past experiences with helpers, we find we like couples or friends (groups of two) because sometimes we are really busy and we want someone you can have fun and adventure with! We prefer when our volunteers stay for more than a couple weeks, when they get comfortable with us and our space, when they find ways to help in their own time or way. We are open to stays as long as 2 or 3 months. Because our property is a bit remote, it would be best if you had your own vehicle but not a must.
