I had a really good time at the hostel! I had goof food almost every day, the working hours were always respected and the stuff is very nice! It's more an hotel then a hostel, so guests don't really socialize, but I recommend this place if you want to have some good time

Overall a nice experience The volunteers is what makes the experience worth doing The tasks were fair depending on what the task I mostly did painting and housekeeping There were times when the hostel was unprepared for situations but this was solved This was more a working experience than a volunteer.

Relaxed environment in a central location. I was helping with maintenance duties and the work was clear and simple. Managers Jan and Heike provide a warm welcome and are quick to help with any issues you have. Ideal for younger volunteers.

Super nice place to work with really friendly and helpful staff, if I wasn't sure on something they were always able to help me out. Felt welcomed from the moment I first arrived and liked it so much that I extended my stay for another month. Great location too; 5 minute walk from main station and across the road from a park with some great views.

I absolutely loved volunteering here! Not only were the other world packers amazing but the staff was also wonderful and very welcoming to all of us. It truly became a home for me. There's also lots of time to explore the city, and Jan and Heike are both very helpful and work with you if you need anything (being sick, scheduling, etc.) I'd love to come back and visit again.

My experience with the hostel Berlin was great. The work was easy going and was very clear. The manager of the volunteers, Jan, is very understanding and tried to put everybody on the task that suited us better. To explain the job, my task was to paint the hostel walls, but there were other type of shifts. One of them was helping in the bar on the afternoon. This shift was the more sociable one. Mine, however, was during the morning, so I could not interact with much guests. But still, it was easy and I would recommend volunteering with the hostel We get a free buffet breakfast and free buffet dinner

I stayed at the hostel for just over a month and I loved my experience there!!! It truely felt like home being with all the other volunteers, and also such a welcoming staff. Jan was also great helping everyone out and making sure everyone had jobs suited to them. We would get a work schedule for the whole month so we could plan other trips, and it was also really flexible so we could switch shifts with other volunteers! The location is also a 10 minute walk from the central station, where you can get anywhere in Berlin! I will miss everyone and wish I didn't have to leave <3 <3

It was my first volunteering and it couldn't have been better! Schedules are followed correctly, meals are provided and the tasks were not complicated. Very grateful to Jan and Heike for the welcome. A hug to the other volunteers who were part of this period with me! <3

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. The hostel runs as more of a hotel there are mainly private rooms and lots of big groups (school kids, work trips, etc.) come to stay. So don't expect your usual social hostel experience. I'm saying that the staff and other world packers made my stay so special! Everyone is so lovely and willingly to chat about anything! The only down side was there wasn't always 3 meals as advertised. It depended on what meals groups had ordered so if there weren't any groups, no dinner was provided :( but this only happened twice so wasn't a big deal
