We are a farm restaurant located only 0.5 hrs drive from Kunming city which hosts a range of events and activities, including nature study, crafts and pizza-baking workshops, family and team-building activities, birthday parties, and farmers’ markets. Volunteers get free accommodation, three meals a day, and the opportunity to learn about local culture, farming, event planning, and more in return for 3-5 hrs work per day (with one day off/week).

5 Stunden Hilfe pro Tag

Reinigung: Hilfe bei der Reinigung von Küche, Schlafzimmern, Badezimmern und Gemeinschaftsbereichen.

Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.

Landwirtschaft: Pflanze Feldfrüchte, säe Samen und hilf bei Außenarbeiten.

Gartenarbeit: Hilf beim Pflanzenanbau und der Gartenpflege

Was Sie bekommen

1 freier Tag pro Woche

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.

Frühstück: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Frühstück an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Mittagessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Mittagessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Abendessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Abendessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Programmdetails

We started a trial operations in February 2023, which means our story has only just begun! Every day here is different, and we love welcoming adventurous & enthusiastic volunteers to join us at this exciting stage in our journey. Experience or expertise in photography, writing, art, design, handicrafts, baking, gardening or related fields is a big plus.

What we offer our volunteers:
- Free accommodation in the main building (bunk bed in same-sex dorm, shared bathroom and shower)
- Three meals a day (we often incorporate ingredients from our garden or foraged from the nearby forests & will introduce you to many local specialities during your stay)
- 1 day off a week
- Opportunities to learn about local culture, organic farming, event planning, rural entrepreneurship and more!

We ask that volunteers stay at least 7 days and up to 1 month.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Standard tasks will include:

- Assisting in farm activities/welcoming guests
- Planting flowers and vegetables
- Feeding the rabbits
- Helping out in the restaurant (waitering, helping with dishes when busy)
- Light cleaning and housekeeping

However, if you are interested in other aspects of the business such as social media and marketing, we are more than happy to get you involved in those too!

Regeln

Exact working hours will vary day-to-day as our restaurant operates on a reservation-only basis. On weekdays, which tend to be very quiet, the total work in a day may only amount to 2-3 hours, while when we host events, your help will likely be needed throughout the whole day.
