The owners are sweet and kind and they respond quickly if you need anything. The school staff are welcoming and friendly and great at teaching, evidenced by how quickly the students advance. The students are social and motivated to learn. The location is great, in a safe area surrounded by restaurants and stores. The historic downtown, Madre Park, and Tumi are all well within comfortable walking distance, as are the many rivers. These have lovely paths and bridges to walk. There are many large malls just a short bus ride away. Make sure to buy a transport card before you leave the terminal.

My stay at the school was really incredible. I had an amazing time getting to know my students and the staff. I learned so much and made lots of friends. This was my first WorkAway experience but it was great! the room was comfortable, the kitchen was always stocked with fresh food and I had lots of free time to explore the city and meet new people! I am very thankful for the school and would love to return someday!

I had a wonderful time at the school. The students were eager to practice their conversation skills by discussing specific topics and playing games in every lesson. Lessons were usually 4–5 hours per day, with 2-hour sessions on Saturdays. Sundays and Wednesdays were free. the school is located very close to downtown—within walking distance of many attractions. The accommodation had great facilities, a clean room, and a kitchen that was always re-stocked with breakfast. Thanks to Nina for coordinating, and to all the other staff who helped make this a wonderful experience.

This was a really unique experience exchanging cultures and learning about ecuador as a whole. I had a wonderful time with students and the different levels of understanding English. This has helped improve my Spanish and communication skills. The host was supportive, kind and friendly. The location is safe and reasonably close to downtown and other surrounding areas. I highly recommend this facility due to the fact they are changing lives not just teaching English. Thank you soul much for the opportunity professionally and personally . Blessings to all!

Both the staff and the students were very nice. I really enjoyed the lessons with the students. The cultural exchange during the lessons with the locals was particularly interesting and beautiful for me. Apart from the lessons, you have a lot of free time to explore Cuenca and go on day trips. However, after about 10 days I had done most of the leisure activities, which meant that I got bored during the following Christmas holidays. After the 26.12. the people were more likely to spent time with me during my leisure.

My stay at the school was fantastic! Amazing team, and teachers. This was a great experience and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all needs were met. It was a pleasure to get to know the students and help improve their English. The students were very respectful and eager to learn. The teachers were very friendly and welcoming. We went out to lunch and dinner together which was a very welcome surprise and much appreciated. I would 100% recommend the school to anybody looking for an immersive cultural experience. I had so much fun!

My experience at the school was lovely. All the staff are so kind and make you feel at home. The speaking sessions with students allow you to meet new people and learn about Ecuador. During my free time I really enjoyed exploring the city and nearby attractions. There is a space at the school where volunteers stay and we were super well taken care of. This was one of my favourite world packers experiences, I would definitely recommend :)
