I ended up having to leave earlier due to a job interview, but I had a good time in the hostel gallus. the tasks aren't hard at all and the schedules are respected, volunteers have the freedom to switch between themselves if they'd like a day off or a different task, and since I liked working at the bar, they gave me more shifts there, which I really appreciated! the managers from both the hostel locations in town are always ready to help in case there's any issues. I just wish there was some more training for the volunteers, as I felt a bit lost during this week figuring out what to do

Me gustó mucho hacer voluntariado aquí. Agradezco que durante mi estadía nos dieran todas las comidas (aunque depende de si hay grupos alojados). El trabajo es tranquilo, lo más movido es preparar el desayuno, pero el staff siempre fue amable. Después del turno hay tiempo para conocer la ciudad o hacer escapadas. No es un hostel social, es más tipo negocio, pero entre voluntarios se forma buena compañía. Ideal si trabajas online: tienes tu espacio, buena comida, WiFi y está bien conectado.

The hostel is a business hostel, so volunteers are a part of this. I worked at the bar (I managed the bar preparing drinks, coffee and food, and collecting the money) and ar the breakfast. There's a Guest kitchen which is not comfortable if you're thinking about staying more than one or two weeks, you'll have to think about buying food outside. The breakfast is at 11 (only), we eat after all the guest. If there's no enough food you can tell Favio and his people, they the best of them. If you are making a long trip and you want to rest a little, this Is a good place for you.

My stay at the hostel was fantastic! Malina, Fabio, and Jamy were all amazing, always friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed daily breakfasts and occasional dinners when student groups were staying, which made for a lively atmosphere. In my free time, I played a lot of pool with other amazing volunteers from around the world, shared stories, and connected. I also had time to explore the hostel, thanks to the hostel's convenient location. The vibe was perfect for meeting people. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to volunteer in the hostel!

Everything was amazing in this time, every person on the team is really really a great co-worker but more than that, they are now a great friends. Special thanks to Malina, Jamy, Fabio, Patrick, Inna, Anna, Mohammad, Marko, Marianne. All of them were amazing in every part of this journey. Also to my Worldpackers colleagues Jesus, Pablo, Alex, Guillherme, Guillermo, Jacqueline, Omar, Claudio. Also amazing!

Volunteering at the hostel the hostel was an incredible experience! The team was welcoming and always ready to help, making me feel right at home. Tasks were well-organized and fair, including bar shifts, kitchen duties, and room checks, with a flexible schedule that allowed plenty of time to explore the hostel nearby cities. Malina, Fabio, and the rest of the team were kind, respectful, and always attentive to everyone's needs. The hostel is well-located, and the guest kitchen is a great perk. I had a blast and would definitely come back!

It was a very good experience, the team leader is very friendly, she was always attentive and planned the tasks and schedule very well. We felt very good with the staff and we always received help and good treatment. 😃

Tuvimos una muy linda estancia, nos sentimos como en casa, todo el personal es muy amable, Malina es una persona muy amable y comprensiva, nos hizo sentir muy bien en todo momento. El hotel esta muy bien ubicado por lo tanto tuvimos la oportunidad de viajar. Fue una experiencia muy buena y la recomiendo 100%! Ha sido de los mejores voluntariados en los que he estado. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo del hostel del hostel por acogernos ♥️

Beautiful experience at the hostel! The team is incredibly welcoming and always willing to help with anything you need. The tasks are fair and well organized, allowing you to enjoy the place, its surroundings and meet beautiful people. It is very well located, which makes it easy to explore the city! I would definitely come back ❤️

Thank you the hostel!!! I had a blast. From working at reception to the kitchen and housekeeping, everyone welcomed us with open arms. Thank you Malina, Fabio, Jesus, Cami, Juan, Jamie... Hopefully, we'll see each other soon!!
