I had an amazing time here! The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. The place is very remote, you're basically staying in the jungle which I loved. Lots of wildlife and right on a beautiful black sand beach. I had fun cooking delicious meals with Hernan and the work hours were respected. I hope I can come back :)

Mi experiencia en la reserva superó totalmente mis expectativas. Me quedé una semana y no imaginé que disfrutaría tanto del voluntariado como realmente lo hice. La carga horaria de las actividades es muy equilibrada, lo que permite aprender, colaborar y también tener tiempo para conocer la cultura local de Costa Rica. Estar en contacto constante con la naturaleza y los animales fue, sin duda, una de las mejores partes de toda la experiencia para mí. Fue una vivencia muy especial, enriquecedora y que recomiendo muchísimo.

Although we only stayed for three days, it was an incredible experience. We got picked up by Patricia and started the trip with the most amazing boat ride to get to the place. There we met Hernan who welcomed us very warmly with a great meal. The work could not have been more interesting, we learned so much from Hernan who really loves all the wildlife on the island. If you want to explore Costa Ricas jungle, learn about the surrounding nature and also have great food and company, this is the right place.

Herman est très gentil, pédagogue et toujours de bonne humeur. C'était un plaisir de travailler ici. On part quelques heures chercher les singes, j'ai appris à cuisiner les recettes costaricaines, la plage est à 1 min de la maison, je recommande !

We really enjoyed our time Volunteering here! Hernan was so lovely and very helpful with everything we needed while here. He also cooked amazing food! The work was relatively easy. It was really relaxed while not working and the house is located very close to the beach so we got to go swimming every day!

Todo fue maravilloso, Hernán y Patri son unos increíbles host, muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar, Hernán da un tour muy lindo en canoa y te lleva a lugares muy padres, la observación de monos fue increíble y aprendí muchísimo, la comida es muy rica y hay gatitos y perritos muy lindos que siempre te cuidan

Patri is an extraordinary person. Running An Entire Business Houses Etc. on Gasoline and Batteries! A Comfortable Remote Place With Many Thing to keep busy. The Pets & Animals are Awesome. The Neighbors & Workers All Very Respectful!. The Water Taxi is Awesome! I Would do it Again!
