Come and join us in Casa Samay :) some fun activities you will do are:

Be a guest driver for surfing, scuba diving and pick ups.
Help out in surf, scuba and social media content.
Prepare the rooms, clean the kitchen after breakfast.
Sweep and mop common areas, clean the bathrooms in the morning and at night, tidy everything up along the day.
Deep clean once/week.
Take out the trash at night.

Programmdetails

Casa Samay Cozumel is a small hostel characterized by its peacefulness
and exceptional cleanliness.

It has 3 private rooms and two shared bedrooms. One female and one mixed.

A bed on top of a bunk bed in the mixed dorm is where the volunteer sleeps. (The mixed dorm is only 4 beds)

We're seeking a RESPONSIBLE, proactive individual with strong cleanliness habits who seeks a relaxed environment to unwind. Must be outdoorsy, ocean-loving, and enjoy meeting people from around the globe. Ability to drive stick shift is essential.

Upon your arrival, we'll welcome you, give you a tour of the house, and provide detailed explanations of the activities. We're readily available for any questions or concerns and will offer tips on discovering the best spots on the island. Prior to your approval, we'll schedule a video call to discuss responsibilities and expectations.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Your morning activities start at 10:30 am, wrapping up by 1:00 pm when guests head off for their excursions/tours. Various tasks are involved, such as general kitchen cleaning, room preparation for new guests, bathroom upkeep, sweeping, mopping, and occasional repairs or painting.

On certain days, you'll assist with surfing and scuba diving activities, including tasks like carrying equipment, capturing moments, driving, and setting up gear. You may also be required to operate our manual Volkswagen sedan for guest transportation.

During the evening (from approximately 10 pm to 10:30 pm), you'll manage tidying up, cleaning bathrooms, taking out the trash, and ensuring all doors are securely closed.

We aim for a 5-hour workday, and any extra time will be compensated accordingly, so we appreciate your flexibility! 😊

Regeln

- Volunteers are not allowed to bring outsiders into the Hostal.
- Parties are not allowed.
- Noise must be kept at a moderate level after 9:30 pm.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the hostel.
- The use of any kind of drugs is not permitted.
