The school was a life-changing experience for me. Judy and Kimchi are so committed to their students and their education — it's truly inspiring. It reminded me how important it is to teach children to live, grow, and find joy in simple things. The classes are small, so it's easy to get to know each student. Each child has their own unique way of seeing the world, and that's deeply respected there. I helped with English, but more importantly, I shared my culture and life experiences — and they did the same with me. We danced, cooked, and even celebrated my birthday together! I'm so grateful. xoxo

I had a beautiful experience here. This was my first volunteer and Judy, Kim Chi, and the students made it such a welcoming space. The students were lovely and have such curious, and kind personalities. Kimchi and Judy puts great effort into making us feel at home-- I even got to plant a jackfruit tree! Very progressive school that is centered around the students in it's teachings. I assisted Judy in teaching and taught my own lesson as well. There is a lot of down time! I found my own accommodations for cheaper in the center, it was super easy! It was so hard to leave! Thank you the school.

I loved every minute i spent in the school, the kids were wonderfull and had a very good english level. It was awesome speaking and connecting with Judy and Kimchi, they have very modern and good ideias for education. I am and I will miss them a lot. I had zero expectations going into this experience. Turned out to be one of the greatest of my life. Never expected so much contact with locals, nature and activities. The kids truly are the soul of the whole experience - very kind, responsible and gentile. Loved every minute of it, the discipline that it gave me and would recommend to anyone of the Worldpackers community!

Such a warm and friendly team at the school home school. The kids were so much fun to teach and play with. A range of activities were encouraged such as yoga, music, football and many more. Their commitment to sustainability and subsistence farming is commendable - fresh and locally-sourced snacks and lunch provided!

I had the most wonderful time at the school. It was my first experience like this and glad I got to be a part of that. I volunteered during their summer camp and helped Judy with English lessons for the most part. You could also help with cleaning and other teachers' lessons and play with kids as well. The biggest highlight of it all for me was the kids. They were so well behaved and lovely to spend time with. And I loved seeing a different approach to education here. As feedback, I'd like to see them communicate relevant plans/decisions regarding trips, etc. more clearly with volunteers.

My experience at the schoolschool was amazing ! You assist Judy in teaching english to a small group of 7 students, so you really get to know them. Everyone in the school is super nice and the environment for the kids is simply amazing, they also have a lot of activities before and after lessons and you can take part which is pretty nice. I loved my time here !

This was a great experience and I definitely recommend volunteering here. The teachers were all so friendly and welcoming. The kids already have great English skills and you just help with their lessons and play when not in lesson. During our volunteering we got to visit a local temple and took part in cooking classes with the kids.
