Hello! I'm Álvaro, I'm 34 years old and I currently live in Asturias. Years ago I was a helper in different places in the United Kingdom and Ireland. My experience was very pleasant and I learned a lot about the life and customs of those places where I lived.
I started with this project last year ("Acracia" is the name of it and means freedom in Greek)

I started with this project last year ("Acracia" is the name of it and means freedom in Greek), 11 volunteers have passed through this place last year and it has been a great experience with each one of them.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

am currently rehabilitating a country house that has been abandoned for 13 years, there is a lot of clearing work, as well as reconstruction, painting and make fences. The house is much better now than when I started.
I am currenly living in the house with solar panels for the ligths of the house and chargue phones. We dont have normal electric conexion, we can,t use computers or other electric tools that 230V available, we life in disconection electronic and it is one of the ideas of the house. We have a hot shower made from rain water colector. I like cooking with fire and still living wild! Arround the house there is not shops or other comercies. Some days I can bring you to Gijón but if you don,t have a car have to be concience about where you are, in the middle of the Asturian mountains. There is a bus stop waalking 15 minutes from the house.

Regeln

I practice sports like surfing, hiking, etc. that we can practice and I will also show you my way of life as well as a party that I will organize with my friends so that you can get to know the people and culture in Asturias.
Here we share the food, drink, clining organization etc. Everyone who comes must take care of their own food, although most days we cook together, sharing everything we have.
