El trabajo no es difícil de aprender y se respetan los horarios. Conocí muy buenas personas en el equipo de trabajo, que podria considerar buenos amigos. Asi como huéspedes con los que me diverti y de los que aprendí mucho.

Un experiencia muy bien. Todo los team son muy muy buena onda. Muchas Gracias a Silvana y Christian, la mejor jefes. La trabajo esta facil y rapido, y los gerentes son muy organizando y facil a trabando con. La hostal es comodo, bacalar es un lugar muy bonito y magico, me encantó esta experiencia

El hostel es un hostal pequeño pero con muchísimo corazón y sueños detrás. Realmente no nos damos cuenta de TODA la magia que pasa detrás de cámaras al llegar como huésped a un lugar, y tienen mi admiración total esos todólogos que, aún en las situaciones más caóticas, siempre tienen un sí asegurado. Gracias a Chris por su entusiasmo, a Sil por su paciencia y a mis compañeros que, si pudiera, me los llevaría en la mochila conmigo ❤️. Y, por supuesto, disfrutar de la laguna y encontrar diferentes tonalidades de azul por un mes es una experiencia inigualable. Gracias!!!

Is a great place to apply your FD skills while meeting beautiful souls from every corner of the world Awesome Christian appreciates so much Volunteers that are truly committed to the exchange and Silvana will help you in anything. If you have the luck to volunteer at these beautiful properties, apply your Hostel etiquette at all times. El hostel y xibalaba son un.hogar el.equipo cristian silvana y toda la banda son geniales, cómodo amplio y están abiertos a sugerencias. Gracias por todo, los extrañare.....!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hostel (never the hostel) for our 3 weeks. Work was easy & the environment from both guests and other volunteers was great during our stay! Christian & Silvana are super attentive and helpful. It was a lot of Spanish for us which was good for learning and we used translate when needed. 2 things to mention: 1. During our three weeks there was no hot water at all, it was rather hot there so didn't bother us too much personally. 2. The SUP free tour is no longer included unfortunately which we didn't find out until we arrived.

We both met some really cool people, the shifts were long but having 4 days off in a row (together with my partner) was worth it! The work was pretty easy. Helping sell tours and transfers was very rewarding for us. The breakfast was simple and the accommodation for volunteers could do with some tlc but it was comfortable. We would definitely come back here.

I enjoyed my time at the hostel, all the volunteers were super cool and friendly. The work is clear and easy to do.it's a very chill hostel, quiet compared to some others in Bacalar. Silvana is happy to help with any problems. I would recommend that you have intermediate Spanish to really be able to communicate with guests and locals.

Mi estadia tuvo muchas partes buenas al igual que partes malas, tuve unos malos momentos con la encargada del lugar, Silvana, donde no pudimos llegar a acuerdos y tuvo varias actitudes groseras hacía mi, por esta situación tuve que solicitar el seguro de viajero porque ya no era un lugar comodo para mi. Pero me quedo con lo bueno de esto, conoci personas geniales que me enseñaron mucho, el lugar esta cerca de la laguna, era muy comodo el ir a relajarse con una vista increible. Me quedo con todo lo bueno y agradezco infinitamente por el tiempo que si me dieron estancia.

I had an incredible time in bacalar! The Place is stunning, especially the laguna, and I've met amazing people during my stay. The work is really easy and you have a lot of free time. Aldough I need to mention that it can be quite hard in the beginning if you don't speak spanish, it sometimes can be a little isolating. We were offered a free sunrise SUP Tour which was a big plus. The Volunteer dorm at the hostel was quite comfortable but we had some minor issues because the toilet was broken. In conclusion I'd highly recommend this place, but keep in mind that there might be a language barrier.
