We aim to develop the rural community in Vietnam by nurturing, empower future leaders, and provide quality educational programs. We also have a small garden to teach children about sustainable agriculture. You will have chances to instruct English or any skills classes you can offer students, take care of children on weekends, and more. We look for volunteers who are have teaching experience and have desire to contribute to the community!

Beschreibung: If you stay with us for less than 6 months, there will be an additional fee to cover 3 meals/day and accommodations. Many short-term volunteers come and stay with us for several weeks which makes additional fees also vital to sustain our local educational activities. The longer you stay, the less you will pay

Programmdetails

Our English classes are often medium-sized (15 or fewer students) and focus on English communication, some grammar, and structures, and aim to boost students’ confidence and broaden their perspectives. Besides learning from textbooks and materials, our students are encouraged to “explore” English via authentic media: songs, videos, movies, and communicate with our English-speaking tourists. In addition, volunteers can offer art, music, IT, etc classes or workshops for students.

Besides providing English classes and other educational programs, we also formed the Nui Tuong core team in 2016. Currently, the team has 9 high school students who are equipped with leadership skills, have a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, and can “think globally, act locally”. You can become a mentor or coach for our students in building profile abroad scholarships, developing multiple skills, life, etc.

Regeln

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate strict vegan or vegetarian diets. However, in case you are vegan or vegetarian, it would be great if you are comfortable eating vegetables that may be cooked with meat.
