I had a great time at the hostel! My tasks included being at the reception and creating social media content mainly for Instagram. The team is very kind and always worried about our well being. Alba took me and the other volunteer to get to know Pereira better one night, and we had a great time together! Lizeth, Marcela and Carolina were also very nice and friendly. The hostel is very beautiful, clean, and a great place to relax and reconnect to yourself. The team was also very kind when I had to leave early due to a personal issue, which I'm very thankful for.

Due to a personal issue I was only able to stay a week at Derequka, nonetheless I experienced nothing but kindness and compassion from the team. The hostel itself is a great location and it's the perfect place if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue excelente, en primer lugar la dueña Elizabeth está 100%presente en todo, haciéndote sentir desde antes de tu llegada como en casa. Y después el personal super atento y de gran ayuda. Las tareas realmente son sencillas, el hostal hermoso y una ubicación privilegiada en la ciudad de pereira. Recomiendo ser parte del hostel sin dudas

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience! Everyone was super nice and I had a great time working there and still had time to visit Pereira, Salento, Cocora, amongst other near by places. All the spaces of the hostel are great and I will surely come back! It is also a great experience to connect with a lot of people travelling through Colombia

The staff became like my family so easily and fast! This place is run by a family, every one of them so friendly and nice. The house has the best location in Pereira and even though it was not full of guests all the time, the connections and frienships I was able to create were amazing. The host is super flexible, the atmosphere is chill and you can also easily work on something else if you are a digital nomad or work online. The tours offered are also great! this region of Colombia is so beautiful. It was lovely to be part of the family, I really enjoyed this experience.
