Kelsey was an awesome host that communicated very well from beginning to end. She was very welcoming and sociable and fostered a productive work environment. The work was very straightforward and only took up 1.5-2 hours of your day on average. The location is A+ being in the heart of Antigua. It was an enriching experience and would recommend it to anyone.

My time at the host was amazing! The work itself was really manageable and was mostly about giving out gear and doing some cleaning. The perk of getting to hike Acatenango/Fuego (and Pacaya) for free was 100% the highlight of the experience. Kelsey, the manager was very helpful and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed always :) I would highly recommended this volunteering experience to anyone who wants to get to know Antigua well.

It felt really welcomed here. Everyone here is generous and open for a conversation. The tasks aren't hard to do and after your shift you have a lot of free time. Really enjoyed my time here with the other volunteers and the staff.

I spent 5 weeks at the host and wish I could've stayed longer. Usually only 2 hours of work a day and it isn't difficult.. The location couldn't be any better in central Antigua and the ability to go on these incredible volcano hikes for free is the highlight of the experience. Kelsey runs a tight ship but is very easy to reach and accommodating with any requests or issues about anything. Very simple but cozy living conditions that the volunteers are responsible for keeping clean, but they are always willing to improve the experience if you ask. Will absolutely try to come back! Thanks the host :)

Volunteering in the host has been one of my favorites experiences, the work is really easy so it gives you plenty of time to explore Antigua and the you get the chance to meet tons of people and there are no words for the experience of hiking a volcano. I recommend 100 to come and volunteer at the host!!!

The host fue mi primer voluntariado por medio de la app y para mi fue mágico, Kelsy es una persona increíble, accesible, divertida y me siento muy agradecida que me haya recibido. Las tareas son muy sencillas, el espacio fue muy especial, conocer a gente de todo el mundo con tan buena vibra y abierta a cualquier plan también hizo mi experiencia increíble. Tive uma experiência muito bacana no anfitrião. Tem uma localização excelente, perto de tudo que você precisa e quer ver em Antigua. As atividades são muito tranquilas e dinâmicas e a gerente, Kelsey, é bem flexível com os horários. Vivi um dos dias mais incríveis da minha vida subindo o vulcão, que claro, é um dos benefícios para os voluntários. Meu único ponto de atenção é: Lembre-se que não é um hostel. Os voluntários ficam em quartos nos fundos da própria agência. As instalações são bem simples, não espere muito conforto. No mais, recomendo MUITO a experiência. Thank you 🌋❤️
