The experience with Gigliola has been fantastic! It couldn't be better! We are in the north of Italy, a very calm city, don't come looking for excitement hahaha An ancient city, where everyone grows vegetables and there is nature all around it! The hostess is wonderful and always very attentive to us! The work is a real volunteer and is super flexible! I definitely recommend it and would come back here!

Gigliola fue muy amable, siempre estuvo muy atenta y motivada a enseñarnos sobre la cultura italiana (comida, vinos). Me hizo sentir muy cómoda y estaré muy agradecida siempre ya que fue mi primera experiencia como WorldPacker. Las tareas son muy sencillas y terminas teniendo casi todo el día libre, lo único es que en Schio no hay muchas actividades para hacer, pero las montañas cercanas son hermosas.

This was my first worldpackers experience and I couldn't be happier, Gigliola was an amazing host, she was very nice all the time and some days she would cook for us delicious meals and we would gather together (worldpackers and guests) and have an amazing time. The work is very easy to do, everything is clear and the tasks are not something out of the normal, the house is very pretty and with all the facilities. I am VERY grateful for my time here, i didn't want to leave hahah. The city offers beautiful landscapes and is easy to travel to other beautiful cities in Italy. Grazie mille Gigliola

My first Worldpackers experience was lovely! The location right next to the mountains is beautiful and Schio is small but pretty. While it's a bit out of the way, the popular cities can easily be reached by train in just over an hour on days off, or even for an afternoon. The work was easy and quick, especially when shared, and took only half an hour on most days as the place isn't huge. Gigliola is very nice and friendly and cooked for us a few times which was great and unexpected. I would absolutely recommend the stay for a fun experience of Italy!

My stay with Gigliola was nothing less than amazing! The workload was very light considering the same guests were there for the entirety of my stay and the common areas were very easy to clean. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, teaching me Italian and showing me around the area. However you are in a small town and the walk into the town centre is a little bit long. If you are looking for more exploring you have to take a train into nearby cities like Venice and Verona, but the train station is fairly easy to get around!! Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

It was a wonderful experience, I felt welcomed and part of the team: Giogliola it's a fantastic host who encourages you to learn about sustainability and Italian culture, and the work hours/free days respected. As my first experience volunteering I'd totally recommend the guest house Schio it's a pretty little town next to the mountains but well connected and near Veneto's important cities. I did improve my Italian and my English, but above all, I learn what are the values of volunteering and hosts. Schio and the guest house will always be in my heart Tante Grazie Gigliola!

Volunteering with Gigliola was an amazing experience! The place is located in a very beautiful and quiet place surrounded by mountains. There were bikes available which were very convenient to visit the city centre. The workload was not too much and I had a lot of free time to explore and go on bike rides :-)

Minha experiência com a Gigliola foi incrível! Meu primeiro voluntariado e não poderia ter sido melhor. O lugar é extremamente tranquilo e a anfitriã super comunicativa, se mostrou presente em todos os momentos pra qualquer dúvida que tivesse. As tarefas são simples e a pousada é confortável e aconchegante. Muito próximo ao mercado e avenida principal, de trem/ônibus você vai pra qualquer lugar. As tarefas consistiam em manter o lugar limpo e organizado e checar duas vezes ao dia. Bastante tempo livre pra explorar Schio :)

È stato fantastico poter incontrare e collaborare con Gigliola nel suo ostello! È stata la nostra prima esperienza di volontariato e tutto è andato come avevamo concordato, siamo stati accolti molto bene e ci piace anche incontrare quelli della regione! È stata sicuramente un'ottima esperienza per noi!
