Esta foi minha primeira vez como voluntária e também em um hostel, ou seja tudo que vivi foi muito novo. o hostel sempre será uma segunda casa pra mim, pois criei raízes com outros voluntários e hospedes (o hostel family:). Trabalhei como recepcionista lá, no começo foi complicado pois há vários detalhes que podem ser complexos se é sua primeira vez realizando essa função. Além disso, por duas semanas trabalhei em um quadro que deixou o hostel ainda mais bonito!!🤭 Toda semana é realizado duas reuniões, porem para ser sincera ainda há uma falha na comunicação. De todo, recomendo muito!❤️

Wow the hostel, thank you so much for the experience. Firstly the hostel is beautiful, the location is awesome being near the smaller beaches and being immersed more in the central city with the locals. The hostel activities were always fun, both a mix of wholesome and party - salsa, movie nights, sunset picnics, themed parties. You had lots of encouragement and freedom to explore your creative pursuits. Personally I grew in my photography because of the hostel and Carlos for giving me opportunities aswell. Most of all the best part is the people I worked with and the memories I made ❤️

I really loved my stay at the hostel, the hostel is such a beautiful hostel with a lot of spaces to chill and make friends. With the other volunteers we quickly became one family ❤️😊 Laura is such a great and empathetic manager that always tries to do the best for the volunteers and the hostel. The beaches are so nice and if you like waves it is perfect for you. 100% recommend!!!

The hostel is an absolutely beautiful place. Very possibly the most beautiful hostel i've ever stayed in. The rooftop is amazing, tv room with Netflix is great. The tasks are super easy. You basically just sit on a couch for 5 hours, 4 days a week. What i do wish i knew before i came tho is that the hostel Escondido is a big party place. I'm not really a party person and that made my stay not the best experience, but that has nothing to do with the actual work trade, that really just me as a person.

Great experience at this hostel. The staff were lovely and the required volunteer hours are easy. Very chilled back hostel will be back again :)

Amazing place, but most importantly incredible people. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and ready to help. Eli (manager) is the best, she always supported us. Work is easy and quick to learn, activity you have to organize for guests is not even “work”, it's like hanging out with your friends. We always had our schedule for a week in advance, so it was really easy to organize our time. I had a lot of fun with other volunteers and guests. Didn't even realize 5-week stay was over. Definitely recommended, hope I'll have an opportunity to come back too:)

This is an incredible place and I am sooo happy we got accepted there. It was an unforgettable experience and I am grateful for all the people I met there. Thank you Eli for being such a great manager and for making us feel welcomed. The tasks and working hours were always discussed, the hostel is clean and the beds are big and comfy. The location is also really nice and we have activities every day so it is always fun and you get to know a lot of people. It is definitely worth applying for it as you get an opportunity to experience life in the hostel Escondido. Hope I will come back one day!

El hostel ha sido la mejor experiencia de mi vida, pude conocer gente maravillosa, conectar conmigo misma y visitar la playa todos los días. Este viaje me ayudó mucho a practicar mi Inglés y saber que era capaz de interactuar con otras personas. En el hostal todo se siente como si estuvieras en tu casa, mi habitación fue muy cómoda y pude aprovechar lo que había en la despensa para voluntarios. El trabajo en recepcion no se sentía. Haría esto mil veces más. 💗 Muchas gracias a todo el equipo y a Diana por darme la confianza de trabajar aquí por un rato.

Really couldn't ask for a better place to volunteer at. Reception Tasks are quickly learned, Shifts are at good times and the hostel itself is super social, clean and nice! Communication was always given. I really had my best time in the hostel. ☀️🙌🏻
