Have you ever wanted to take a break from your current life, experience Puerto Escondido, and live and breathe a growing hostel project? You will have the opportunity to bartend in Puerto Dreams Hostel, a renowned traveller's hub located on the Oaxacan coast. You will be in charge of making guests have a great time at our rooftop palapa bar, entertaining them with great conversation, preparing delicious cocktails, and making the perfect ambience!

Programmdetails

You are a curious person who is confident with other humans. You like creating an inviting and dynamic space, and details like lighting, music and ambience are important to you. You are aware that working at the hostel requires being reliable with your time and generous with your energy. Your fellow team members will become your good friends, and together you will explore new ideas, learn new skills and make friends for life. Every day is an opportunity for you to make new connections, discover new perspectives, and of course improve your Spanglish. We will also provide you with training on mixology in general and on how to create cocktails that reflect your idea.


The hostel is also a canvas for your ideas. Perhaps you will realize a talent you are already aware of, or perhaps you will discover a talent you didn't know existed. Striving to be a better person than you were yesterday is essential.

Minimum Requirements:

English at conversational level
Available all days of the week
No or minimal outside commitments during your stay
Available for a minimum of 4 weeks
You want to learn and develop yourself as a human being

Shifts:

Monday - Saturday 6:30pm - 11pm
Being a great host and knowing how to make a couple of classic cocktails are key!
