I had a wonderful two-week volunteering experience – one week at the strawberry farm and one week at the glamping site..both were amazing! The farm is well organized: morning work and free afternoons. At the glamping, we cleaned and prepared tents between check-outs/check-ins. It's more remote but peaceful. The Bong family is super kind and Jii took us on a trip and BBQ. Beautiful experience!

Volunteering at Bong Farm has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. What started as a simple exchange quickly became much more now I truly feel I have a new family in Korea. I have a Korean mom and dad, three Korean brothers, and many other brothers and sisters from all around the world who I met here. Bong Farm is not just a place, it's the best spot in Korea if you're looking for a real cultural immersion. Every day is filled with learning, laughter, and genuine connections. The love and care I received here made me feel at home from the very first moment.

Since returning to Seoul, my days at the farm seem like a dream. It was a very happy and peaceful time where I was lucky to experience the local food, values and work culture in a beautiful place. I always felt welcome and would love to come back. Thank you!

My last stop in South Korea was Bong Farm in Geochang. A most wonderful Korean experience from the host the Bong Family. Experiencing traditional South Korean values of importance of family values, work ethics and kindness. A highlight was having lunch with the family. Work was not overly hard and there was variety of farm and glamping work from packing boxes, cutting strawberry stems to building their new greenhouse. The facilities were fantastic. You get your own room. Hostess Jii was fantastic and an awesome person. She was a firm and very fair and you get to know her at a personal level.

Jii is a really nice and understanding host. Her team is welcoming and helpful. I really enjoyed being at the Glamping. I had my own big tent, with private bathroom and kitchen. The Glamping site is green and spacious. Sometimes the work was intense and sometimes it was more relax. I learned how to do cleaning professionally and Glamping works. Very interesting! Geochang is a place to discover if you like countryside.

This has been my second experience volunteering with the Bong family and I have to say there is no other host, that will treat you with total hospitality and make you feel like family. Each time I volunteer for them it has always been a splendid experience. You will be provided with groceries and you will most likely have a private room. The working time were completely reasonable and left plenty of time to rest. The Bong family will also occasionally take you out for lunch or dinner and also invite you to some events that happen in town. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!
